Autumn was such a pleasure to work with during my wedding planning! She was accommodating and made sure the bouquets were exactly what I wanted. With COVID and things being so uncertain, she was very flexible and understanding of the multiple changes in plans. She delivered my flowers on time and they arrived in nice vases with water. I'm so glad she was able to design for me and really made my intimate wedding so beautiful and special!

Working with Nicki from Dahlias and Details was incredible. She made it fun and stress free. I didn't know where to start with flowers, so I shared with her a few pictures of arrangements I liked, and the colors I planned on having in my wedding, and she took it from there! The day of my wedding I was blown away with what she was able to put together. She did my wedding bouquet, family boutonnieres and corsages, bridal bouquets, table floral arrangements, floral arrangements for the alter, and other floral decorative pieces for the ceremony. The arrangements were truly stunning and beyond what I imagined. Originally I was not going to hire a florist. And boy and I SO glad I did! It made the whole day feel so warm and beautiful. Without hesitation, I recommend Dahlias and Details!

Something Borrowed Blooms

4.8

  • Starts at $250
  • Serves King City, CA
  • Offer

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

The process of using something borrowed blooms was so easy. I loved that the flowers could be reused and that I wasn't going to spend thousands of dollars on flowers that would just be thrown away! They included the return label in the box with the flowers they shipped out, which was great because we did not have a printer at our destination wedding. All of our flowers were fake because I was also worried about the heat wilting our flowers. I only rented bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and a dog collar- but I wish I had rented my centerpieces as well! Amazing experience with SBB all around!

I did a lot of searching and looking into different diy flower companies. As soon as I came across bloom culture and read some of the reviews I knew I wanted to go with them! Alison was so friendly and personable and so easy to work with. She helped put me at ease by answering all of my questions and even helped me to swap out a couple of the flowers in one of the packages to better match my vision for my wedding. I was a little nervous about the flowers lasting all the way until the wedding day (my wedding was on a Sunday and they arrived Wednesday) but by the day of they had opened up beautifully and looked amazing. There were also hardly any flowers damaged or broken when they arrived. With all of the detailed instructions and recipes they provided, putting together the flowers was honestly a breeze once we got started. We didn’t follow the instructions specifically because I had a different number of bouquets, center pieces, etc. that I need to make, but the recipes and instructions were still super helpful. I also watched Alison’s YouTube videos beforehand which helped a ton! Overall very happy with the quality of the flowers, the price, and the excellent customer service. Cannot recommend enough!

I worked with Mahina and Soul on a styled shoot in October of 2020 - and I have to say that in my years of wedding photography, these two were the absolute greatest florists to work with. The planning process was so collaborative and they met me with so many great ideas ready to go, yet were completely willing and open to accepting feedback to tailor their work to my vision. Ashley and Emily are incredibly professional, creative, and let's not forget... KIND. These two have been such a joy to work with and I recommend them to ANYONE looking for their floral dreams to come to life.

Fleurish CA

5.0

  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves King City, CA

I'm Anne, the creative lead and owner of Fleurish CA. Our floral design starts with a love of beauty, people and wellness. We're passionate about our clients and approach all projects as collaborations. Fleurish CA focuses on helping YOU share a thought, express an emotion or create a vision through flowers. Small or large, we deliver a personal experience that's customized and beautiful.

I cannot recommend Anne enough- her florals were STUNNING for a wedding I photographed on the California coast. What impressed me most is how well she pivoted the florals when there was the craziest wind storm and things had to be moved from their original location of outside to partially inside/outside for the reception. I also could've photographed that bouquet forever! She is so professional, kind and lovely to work with. Cannot wait to work with her again!

I was privileged to have Victoria do the flowers for my wedding in October of 2021. To say that Victoria did a great job would be a tremendous understatement. Victoria's work was absolute perfection. Victoria brought such high levels of professionalism and passion with her into our first meeting and throughout the entire planning process. When we first chose to have her do our wedding flowers, my husband and I did not expect how stress-free it would be. After just a few minutes of talking, Victoria completely understood our vision. One thing that really stood out to us was her ability to create such breathtaking work while also staying within our budget. I highly recommend the work of Sun Canyon Florals. Victoria is personable, organized, and beyond talented. She will do whatever she can to make your big day look like a dream come true!

Form & Flower

5.0

  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves King City, CA

My name is Linzy and I am a floral designer and architect based in San Francisco, California. Form & Flower was founded after many late nights and early mornings spent creating floral designs based upon the principles of architecture and a love for the natural environment that I cherish - form, movement, negative space, balance, color theory, and attention to detail. I love to apply these guidelines to my designs while creating intentional, modern, and whimsical forms that playfully color outside of the lines of normalcy and bring you joy.

Awarded Best of Zola
Linzy was a dream to work with and delivered arrangements more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. She really listened to what I wanted but also lent the right amount of direction and inspiration when I wasn't sure. Her communication was prompt and clear. At weddings, sometime flowers fade into the rest of decor, but everyone was talking about Linzy's arrangements for weeks after my wedding. They are works of art! I look forward to hiring her for future events.

Sarcasm & Sunshine Designs Flower Preservation

5.0

  • Starts at $250
  • Serves King City, CA

Sarcasm & Sunshine Designs is comprised of two friends, turned business partners. We worked together for several years planning events and weddings, so we have a shared love of sparkle, flowers, coffee, and making beautiful memories! We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate our growth as friends, mothers and confidants, than to combine our creativity and passions to create one of a kind items to brighten the days and lives of others. Our business, our products, and our partnership is all about balance, Contessa is the Sarcasm, Danielle is the Sunshine. Some days, we switch roles, but we think life is better with both!

Having my wedding flowers preserved was extremely important to me. To be able to keep something perfectly preserved that was so beautiful on my special day is unreal. Danielle is the kindest and easiest person to work with. She gets back to you within seconds and listens to any and every crazy request I had. Along with a tray, wine stopper, ornament, and book mark, Danielle was able to take part of my Mother’s wedding dress (that was wrapped around my bouquet) and preserve it in a jewelry box with my flowers. Let me tell you, the reaction my mom had on her face when I gave her that jewelry box was indescribable. If you are ever second guessing preserving your wedding flowers, this is your sign to do it. You won’t regret it! Sarcasm and Sunshine’s work is impeccable and I hope that others are able to have their flowers preserved with such care and precision as I was able to have mine.

Led by Sabrina Johnson, every FLOAT Flora design carries a rhythm -- an understanding of movement and form developed through Sabrina’s years as a dancer. Translating the grounded into the ethereal has become FLOAT’s signature airy style.

Above and beyond doesn’t begin to describe what Sabrina did for my husband and I & our wedding. Sabrina gave advice for not only florals & overall decor recommendations, but she helped guide me with anything and everything when it comes to wedding decisions. She has been in the business for MANY years so she has many connections to other vendors, but she still has such a modern & sophisticated touch. Sabrina & her husband Hash, who did our photos, were so flexible and professional in every way. I have had many friends get married in the last couple of years and every one of them commented on how gorgeous our flowers were, how beautiful our photos were, and how amazing Hash & Sabrina were the day of the wedding. TLDR: Fleurisse Design (Willbe) not only beautifully brought our floral vision to life, adding the most important visual touch to our wedding, but was extremely easy to work with when it came to her quick & clear communication, accommodation to our budget & vision, and was both personable & professional. We first found Willbe through Instagram. We were immediately in love with her overall style and aesthetic that is both modern and whimsical. Bonus points that some of the gorgeous arrangements she makes are with blooms from her very own garden. We reached out to her and several other florists. After our initial correspondences and meeting, we ultimately decided to go with Willbe for several reasons (and we felt really good about that decision!): (1) Communication: From the get-go, Willbe was very responsive and has good communication systems in place. We submitted a form via her website, we corresponded over email, and we were able to set up a virtual meeting to chat. (2) Value: Willbe's prices were middle of the road (we got some lower and much higher quotes), and we felt that the product and services she was offering in exchange for the quality and design were well worth it. Additionally, she was willing to work with our budget and desire to have our guests be able to take home the beautiful arrangements! (3) Design: Of course her work is absolutely breathtaking and beautiful!!! My husband and I were planning our wedding from out-of-state from a different time zone, but despite that, Willbe stayed in touch throughout the process, so we were never in the dark. She walked through our floral inspiration pictures with and translated that into what would be executable on her end. In the days leading up to and on the day of, her and her team's professionalism, from asking about the venue layout, arriving well in advance, having everything ready to go, working with the outdoor ceremony elements - wind!, was very reassuring. On the wedding day, the flowers did not disappoint. The bouquets, boutonnieres, floral arch, and various centerpieces were each a piece of art. I'm so glad our photographer captured them, because they were absolutely amazing. When Willbe did the bouquet hand-off to me on the day of, it felt like my Pinterest board come to life (iykyk!). All the floral pieces invoked spring, soft pastel vibes that were airy, delicate, and breathtaking. She nailed the color palette and vibe perfectly. Some of the flowers (sweet peas) came from her own garden as well. The sweetheart table felt like we were sitting in a garden. We would definitely recommend Fleurisse Design to anyone looking for a wedding florist that excels in both creating beautiful floral pieces. We will cherish the flowers as part of our wedding for years to come! *All photos included in this review were photographed by Danya Chen Photography

I have always been drawn to the power of beautiful spaces to inspire and draw people together. Building floral arrangements has become my avenue to facilitate this connection amongst dinner guests and strangers.

Of all the Vendors we hired, Emma and Roobarb was the best decision we made. As two people who didn't have a lot of direction to give on what we wanted, Emma was able to interpret the few pieces of info and put something spectacular together. We were so impressed with how everything looked - and more than anything we loved that it wasn't just a standard wedding design. It was unique, cool, and had a whole vibe to it. Highly recommend working with Emma. In addition to the amazing designs - the team was very professional, prompt, and issue free. Thank you again Emma - we loved eveything!

Florist & Hound Design

5.0

  • Serves King City, CA for additional fees

Florist & Hound Design is a boutique floristry company specializing in artful floral design of weddings, events, and editorials. Based in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, serving Chicago and Northern Illinois along with destinations! Our team is led by Klaudia Szymel, who has been in the floral industry for 6 years and supported by an incredibly talented team. Odie is the Hound. He's included in every proposal, is on every call, and spends tremendous amounts of time in the studio. While he loves flowers, you'll catch him on our Story often or snoozing while the rest of the team works away!

We had such a wonderful experience working with Klaudia! From the very beginning, she was warm and supportive and understood our vision despite our inability to fully articulate it ourselves. We are not flower experts but we knew we wanted something whimsical and magical for our winter wedding. She spent tons of time with us, in person, on the phone, and via email, making sure our proposal was exactly what we wanted. She even stuck with us through some huge changes to our original wedding plan and budget and came up with creative solutions to make sure we got exactly what we wanted within what we could afford. Within just a few weeks of the wedding, we got some wild ideas to use some items of our own in the decorating, and she made that work for us as well. The day-of, our flowers were unspeakably gorgeous. Klaudia delivered the bouquets to us right on time, and decorated the venue beautifully (all while having a broken leg!!!! She is magic.) Our other vendors, guests and even strangers during our outdoor photos raved about the flower arrangements. They were super unique and special, and I never wanted them to be over! In fact, we still have my dried bridal bouquet hanging in our apartment three months later... In sum, hire Klaudia. She is the florist of dreams.

Being based in Redwood City gives us close proximity to some of Northern California's finest areas for weddings and events. Our clientele is very diverse and so are their events. From lush wineries in Napa and Sonoma, to chic and historical properties in San Francisco, we use our experience and creativity to create events that tell the story our clients desire. Through flowers, rentals, and event coordination, we bring your event to life. Your story is unique and we're looking forward to getting to know you and learning how we can work together to make your event beautiful and stress free.

Sassy Diva Designs is absolutely the magic behind our wedding day. Due to the impacts of COVID-19, we canceled our July destination wedding and a few other dates that we tried for soon after. When we finally thought we were going to move forward with an October wedding the venue recommended I connect with Sassy Diva. We had an initial conversation but naturally, things didn't seem ideal to wait for October so I reached out to Beth 2 more times to see if other plans might work better. With less than a few weeks I reached out to Beth and asked if it would be possible to pull off a small wedding in our home and with excitement she said YES! Beth is so creative, flexible, proactive, and just downright helpful. She made planning a small wedding in less than ideal time seem easy. Her team is attentive and friendly and I really couldn't recommend Sassy Diva Designs without the highest regard possible. Don't even think about it just reach out to them!

I would recommend her again and again. Literally only ONE complaint, she was late meeting with my family, but I’m absolutely sure that was a one off :)

Botanical Preserves

5.0

  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves King City, CA for additional fees

Sophia is the creative force behind Botanical Preserves. Raised in an artistic household, she’s worked with multiple mediums over the years, with five years of experience in floral design. Having a fascination with the realm of plants and their healing powers, Sophia surrounds herself with botanicals and their many elements. The concept of floral design as a living, restorative, art form gave her a deep respect for flowers and their unique personality. Their nature of fragility adds to their elusiveness, and gives her the opportunity to exhibit the never-to-be-replicated side of her personality every time she works with floral product.

I got married in Florida and planned my wedding kind of fast which lead to so many things going wrong in my wedding but the one thing that went absolutely perfect and delivered more than I could've ever asked for was my florist Sophia! She was honestly what kept and brought everything together in the end! I let her do her thing and she was very professional and really has an eye to make her arrangements look like works of art! I honestly wish I could've kept my bouquet forever it was gorgeous and to this day when I show my wedding pictures everyone is amazed at the work she did! After working with her on my wedding day I would definitely recommend Botanical Preserves for your special events! I do not know what I would've done without her I am so grateful for everything she did for me :)

Olive Lane Studio

5.0

  • Serves King City, CA for additional fees

Olive Lane is a floral design studio that specializes in creating captivating and conscious arrangements using locally grown product and sustainable materials for intimate weddings, gatherings and events. The name Olive Lane originates from the quiet street I grew up on in southern California and represents what I desire most in my work — the warmth of family gatherings, the open space and calm of an empty beach in the morning, and the irregular beauty of the pacific coast.

I got in touch with Mary at Olive Lane Studio from a recommendation on Facebook as someone local who did amazing florals. Mary exceeded all of my expectations and helped make my day everything I ever dreamed of. We had our wedding in October 2020 after months of wondering if we were going to be able to have it due to the pandemic and replanning on 2 different occasions. When we were planning on having a smaller more intimate elopement Mary was very professional and understanding and helped make the necessary changes to accommodate the extraordinary circumstances. When we were able to have our wedding at our original venue after a last minute change Mary again was flexible and helped confirm that we could proceed with the florals as we had originally planned. She was always quick to respond and provided excellent alternatives to issues that arose during the planning process. In addition to her professionalism, her work with florals is incredible. I envisioned my florals and decor to compliment the venue’s natural beauty and Mary was able to beautifully execute all that I had envisioned. All the florals from my bouquet to the boutonnières and corsages were beautiful and of the best quality. Olive Lane Studio helped create the wedding of my dreams and I cannot recommend Mary enough!!

Paisley's Garden

Hey there! I’m Lauren, your new flower bestie. I am an artistic soul who appreciates every flower and every season. I believe in coming alongside you to bring your floral vision to life in a purposeful, detail oriented way.

Lauren was incredible. I had hired a different florist who had to cancel about 2 months before my wedding. Lauren had been recommended to me by the baker for our cake and she was able. Immediately it was clear that floral designs are her gift. She created a floral vision board for my wedding based on the emails I had sent her describing my personal style and flower preferences, and also with photo examples of flowers I loved. The vision board was perfectly me, to a T. My bridal bouquet was so beautiful and smelled amazing. I carried it around with me all weekend and made room for it in my overpacked luggage to bring home so I could press the flowers! My friends also loved their bouquets, my mother LOVED her gold band corsage, and the boutonnières for the guys were the perfect compliments to everything else! She was so very sweet and accommodating, when I expressed concern for costs she very kindly worked with me to find a budget and also give me amazing florals. She even worked with my reception venue to add flowers to an Ivy wall which turned out AMAZING. My flowers were one of my most favorite pets of my wedding! I cannot recommend Lauren enough - I promise you’ll be so happy you hired Paisley’s!!
