Built from the granite of Stone Mountain, 550 Trackside was established as a Cotton Warehouse in 1904. Home of the Athens YMCA from 1889 until 1919, the original building on this site became a music store, movie house, hotel, Masonic Temple, furniture company and Sears Roebuck store before being replaced by the Elite Theatre in 1935. Except for a brief period as a Methodist church, this theatre – later renamed the Georgia Theatre – has served as a significant performance venue for emerging and established musicians from Athens and beyond. Devastated by a fire on June 19th, 2009, this historic concert hall has been rebuilt as a labor of love with reverence for the creative spirit that Athens has long embraced. Le Fais do-do is a family-owned and operated venue. We host events all the time, but we understand that your event could be the biggest and most important one that you will ever host. Your event is as important to us as it is to you. Bring us your big ideas and let us help you to make them a reality. " Le Fais do-do", the French term literally means to "make sleep", but in the Cajun culture, a fais do-do is a big party, where dancing and festivities last long into the night.

As a facility rental, we provide tables and folding chairs inside, as well as complimentary parking. All outdoor furniture will need to be rented. Catering would be provided through one of our amazing catering companies we partner with and can average $120 to $200 per guest. Beverage service and bartenders are additional and are provided by the History Center. It is about $65 per person for a 4-hour premium full bar. We have a full property minimum on Saturdays of a peak month: April, May, June, September, and October. The facility rental fee for the Swan Gardens, Atlanta History Museum, and Grand Overlook ballroom on a Saturday is $12,500 and we have an additional $5,500 beverage minimum. Fridays and Sundays are $10,000 with a $2,500 beverage minimum. Most of our weddings can expect to spend between $400 to $1,000 per guest after all vendors and costs are added up and divided out per guest.

The Corry House is named after the Corry family that settled the land in the late 1700's. That same family built the house in 1869, and continues to own the land to this day, ten generations later. After meeting and marrying in Greenville in 1989, Drs. Bo and Ruby Cheves moved to Bo's family farm in Union Point, Georgia. Here, they began the work of remodeling the 150-year-old farmhouse and surrounding grounds. As their two kids grew older, Bo and Ruby decided to build a new house overlooking the Ogeechee River further back on the property in 2007. With the help of Erin and Stanton Porter, The Corry House held its first wedding in 2010. At that time, we didn't have our reception barn or the meadow and forest wedding sites. Folks got married in the garden or in front of the farmhouse. After a few years of weddings, Bo and Ruby decided to run with it and built our temperature-controlled barn in 2014.

The Foxglove is a wedding venue located in the historic downtown of Marietta, Georgia. This industrial-chic banquet hall was repurposed and refurbished in 2019 to facilitate sophisticated celebrations. The original steel-framed window and exposed brickwork were preserved and blends perfectly with the elegant interiors. Owners Kacey and Hillery Cecil developed this space out of love and passion for antiquated buildings. Their mission was to retain the building’s authentic charm while enhancing it with modern and refined accents. Complete with a romantic courtyard outside, this is a suitable venue for weddings and memorable occasions.
