Built-in 1848, the wedding barn was originally a working farm, used as a hay and milking barn on the Briggs family 500-acre farm. Once the family moved on, however, the property slowly fell into disrepair, including the barn. Luckily, right away Joel had an amazing vision for what could be the ideal spot, he saw the potential like no other for a unique Irish Hills Wedding location and was happy to buy the property in 2017. Since then, many hours and much effort have gone into creating the perfect space for weddings. As one of Michigan’s Premier Wedding Venues, this venue is a great choice!

Blue Barn Berry Farm has quickly become one of the most popular wedding destinations in the Midwest. The LEX 530 building was once the home of Pacemaker Trailer Co., one of the earliest RV companies in Elkhart. In the fall of 2018 owners Carl and Emilie Tiedemann took part of the building to create LEX 530. Our couples can count on our event director for dedication to making every event picture perfect. Carl makes his own line of boutique wines in Napa Valley and brings that wine back to Elkhart to sell at LEX 530. His numerous connections to small, independent winemakers in Napa, and around the world, allow LEX 530 access to exclusive wines. All of this will make your wedding stand out.
