My full-time gig is teaching high school English and journalism at an all-boys school in Washington, DC. Journalism is my favorite subject to teach because it is as much about writing as it is about the art of observing the world, and I became a photographer because of my experiences in photojournalism.

My name is Tevin and I started my photography journey in 2012. I specialize in portrait photography. I am passionate about photography because I am able to catch the little moments that builds the story of your the wedding.

My love for photography started in my early youth when I would visit my grandmother during summer vacations. She had about 3 to 4 wonderful family albums. My favorite albums were the ones where I saw gramma's old pictures taken in the early 1900’s. I would ask who those people were and she would tell me while including the stories behind the photos. What kid doesn’t like stories? Those family albums rapidly connected me with our family's history and the stories brought the photos to life. My great grandmother has a face, not just a name.

More than a decade ago, two sisters - knew there had to be a better way to allow talented photographers and videographers to focus on what they do best -- create gorgeous art -- while providing couples with better support in the planning process. When I was about 10 years old, my dad gave me a camera and I quickly became obsessed.
