I am Deseree, owner/baker of Sweet Haven. I am a self-taught baker and have been baking for as long as I can remember. I'm a don’t skip dessert after dinner, give me anything sweet and chocolate, kind of girl. While I have always loved all things sweet, my true passion sparked when my son was born in 2018. I made a point to make everything from scratch and wanted to plan and bake for his first birthday. His desserts and cake for his special day went off without a hitch, and from that point on I have been baking and decorating ever since. I love being able to add something sweet to some of life’s biggest celebrations.

Kandy Apples by K started selling delicious candy apples at local markets and festivals. In April of 2019 we opened our first storefront in Raleigh, NC. We offer more than 30 different flavors and our apples come in every color you can imagine. Don’t wait for the fair to get a candy apple! We have over 15 flavors and a variety of colors!
