The Rosenbach is a warm and welcoming space to host any type of event, whether it be a company reception, an intimate dinner with friends, a daylong conference, or a lively cocktail party. Located at 2008-2010 Delancey Place in the heart of Philadelphia near Rittenhouse Square, our historic townhome boasts an exclusive address, and convenience from all of Center City.

The NSCDA/PA owns its Headquarters House located at 1630 Latimer Street in Philadelphia. Built by and for the Dames under the leadership of Mrs. James Starr, Jr., the house has served as the Dames home since its completion in 1923. The building was designed by the Philadelphia Architectural firm Ritter and Shay. Marion Coffin, one of the first female landscape architects, was instrumental in desgining the garden which is a four seasons delight to all who use the house. Headquarters is the setting for Philadelphia Stated Meetings, the meetings of the Board of Managers and its Committees, and for the Society's Annual meeting. The archives of the Society, including lineage papers of our members, both living and deceased, are housed here as well. Headquarters is also available to the general public to rent for weddings and events.

The Loft at Passyunk is a charming wedding venue located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This modern industrial-style loft will add an extra layer of urban chic to your celebrations. The double-level area offers ample space for your event. This blank canvas can be styled however you want for your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. The low ceilings and exposed metal beams give the space an almost rustic brutalism that adds a unique touch to the space. The quaint surrounding streets also offer many photo opportunities to get those cherished memories to last a lifetime.

The German Society of Pennsylvania is a historic, three-story brick building with a classic Colonial touch, and is an elegant setting for a Philadelphia wedding. The property offers several venues for every stage of your celebration. The Joseph Horner Memorial Library offers a unique space, with two stories and galleried bookcases. The antique furniture and wood paneling will evoke Belle’s library. The Auditorium, with its distinctly Colonial architecture, is an elegant ceremony venue, but is also perfect for a reception, with plenty of space for dining and dancing. For your cocktail hour, celebrate with your guests in the Ratskeller, a cozy dining room with a tavern atmosphere, or on the spacious and shady Leidy Terrace.

At the heart of the thriving early industrial community known as Rittenhouse Town, the first paper mill in America was built. It all began when, in 1687, papermaker William Rittenhouse followed other Quaker and Mennonite families emigrating to the newly formed neighborhood of Germantown (founded in 1683). William partnered with Philadelphia’s first printer, purchased a 20-acre plot of land along Paper Mill Run (a tributary of the Wissahickon Creek) and, with the help of his son Nicholas, built the first paper mill in British North America that otherwise could only be delivered from England. For the next 40 years, the Rittenhouse family were the only papermakers in America.

Riverside Weddings at Gloria Dei has been home to Philadelphia weddings since 1700. We offer traditional Episcopal weddings, ceremonies with your own officiant, or self-uniting ceremonies . Other amenities include a deluxe get-ready room for the bride to prepare for the ceremony and dedicated on-site staff members. Lasting Memories Event Venue offers wedding packages with many inclusions. From refined decor rentals to audio setup and consultation with outside vendors, we will cover all the bases to ensure your special day goes off without a hitch. Drink packages are BYOB, allowing you to fully control costs and determine your beverage menu for the night. Your outside caterers can use the kitchenette to prepare your delicious wedding meal, and there is plenty of space for buffet-style tables. Ample parking is available on-site. We are excited to host your day as you celebrate your new marriage!

Morris Arboretum gives you private access to 92 breathtaking acres situated in the historic Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia. You have a choice of seven charming ceremony sites, a delightful open-air cocktail hour, and tented dinner + dancing under the glow of café string lights in the tent. Our picturesque gardens are exclusively yours when for the festivities from 6 to 11pm with a max capacity of 175 (some restrictions apply at the max guest count). You have 3 hours with a golf cart + driver to escort you throughout the lush grounds for wedding photographs. Morris Arboretum offers 6 caterers for you to choose from (this is contracted separately, not included in our rental fee). From elopements to micro ceremonies to large gatherings - we are here to help with effortless planning. We are an outdoor garden with seasonal availability from April through October, and would love to share in your wonderful day!
