The moment we first toured The Hummingbird Chateau we fell in love and knew this was where we were meant to get married. Working with Angela and the owners were amazing. Went above and beyond and made our vision come to life with the expansive decor they offer and her creative eye! I can’t recommend them enough! Beautifully unique venue, stunning decor to choose from their vast inventory, the eclectic colorful farmhouse has an amazing photo opportunity in every nook and cranny! The bridal suite is gorgeous and relaxing and the grooms area was spectacular. I could go on and on raving about everything this venue offers. We were married in one of the outdoor locations by the greenhouse and it was perfect (the rain plan ceremony spot was a stunning back up option-so many great areas to choose from). The Hummingbird Chateau is a must see! - You’ll fall in love just like we did :)

Riverside on the Potomac was the perfect venue for our wedding. The staff was extremely responsive, timely, and direct in their communication, making planning a breeze. The venue itself is simply stunning, with beautiful river views and lush gardens that made for a gorgeous backdrop to our big day. Considering the beautiful setting and high level of service, we felt the pricing was very fair. The team went above and beyond to ensure we could utilize the entire property to bring our vision to life. They took care of every last detail and there wasn't a single hiccup all day or night thanks to their diligent coordination. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and highly recommend Riverside on the Potomac to any couple looking for a beautiful and seamless wedding experience.

The Christian Royer House was the best venue for my wedding! What Michelle & Jerry offer for their couples goes above and beyond anything else I've seen offered by other wedding venues & owners. They provide decorations, ceremony centerpieces, two separate floors for the bridal party to get ready, a honeymoon cabin, and a detailed planner with tips and tricks to help you plan a wedding according to their venue. The venue is gorgeous and the fountain in the background made the ceremony so peaceful and romantic. We absolutely loved how our wedding turned out and the support Michelle & Jerry gave us was so helpful! Booking them was the best decision we made during the wedding process and highly recommend 100%!

We booked a tour with Cold Saturday Farm on a whim, but holy cow am I glad that we did! We met with Brittany on a pretty dreary day in the winter, and even then I could see the beauty in the venue. It truly is a blank canvas that you can really make your own. Plus, the venue checked all the boxes that were super important to us: onsite getting ready spaces for both us, free onsite parking, guest tables and chairs included, and access to the venue all day. For the price, it was a great value. Brittany did end up leaving Cold Saturday, and we do wish that had been proactively communicated to us, but her replacement, Meredith, was fantastic, especially because she started the week before our wedding (I'm pretty sure we were her first wedding at the venue). But she was incredibly helpful and friendly--we actually had guests come up to us and tell us how awesome she was! The only other thing I wish we had known ahead of time was that the getting ready room the guys used didn't have any furniture. It was still being worked on during our tours, so we didn't actually see the room until the day of. So the room may have furniture at some point. Overall, we loved Cold Saturday Farm. It is truly a hidden gem (none of our vendors have ever worked there before but all of them said they loved it), so I really love that it was a pretty unique and beautiful place to have our wedding.

Our wedding day flowed seamlessly, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Kirsten and the entire staff. Kirsten, in particular, stood out with her support at every stage of the planning process and on the day itself. She made sure everything ran like clockwork, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment of our special day. One standout feature that set Highland apart was the spacious and private getting-ready area for the bridal party. This was a big plus for us as some other venues we looked at charged extra for spaces like that. The delicious food was served promptly, and every order was accurate. Our guests were impressed with the quality and taste. Highland Taps & Tables is truly a hidden gem, and we feel lucky to have discovered it for our special day. From the initial visit I knew The Mansion was going to be where my wedding dreams would come true. Susan is hands down the best and without her my anxiety would have been off the chart. Had our petite wedding here in late October 2024 and couldn’t have been happier. We booked a private tour with Tina before booking in October 23 and fell in love with the scenery and location immediately. This is the first and only venue that we toured because we were so in love with it. Tina was so helpful along the way and helped us feel organized and prepared, even when I felt like I didn’t know what I was doing! We were invited to two different open houses after booking to try the food and get ideas and all staff were so extremely friendly and accommodating. The signature cocktails are great and the food is the best wedding food I’ve had. We got TONS of compliments day of about how delicious the food was and how beautiful the venue was. We loved the petite option, ability to rent decor directly from Brown’s and the ability to leave some of the designing up to Tina, who did a great job and took some stress off our plates. Absolutely beautiful venue, definitely book a tour or go to an open house!

We got married @ The Mount Washington Tavern on August 19, 2023, it was a magical night. We (groom and bride) had very little to do or think of. The Mount Washington Tavern staff made it so easy for us. From selecting the menu, guiding us through decoration, flowers, signs, cake, deserts, and so much more. They were amazing! Very flexible and accommodating. We only had to get a photographer, officiant, and DJ. No need for a wedding coordinator, they took care of that. Our friends and family who attended the wedding had only nice things to say… • "First wedding cake that was actually good. Who made it?" • "Crabcakes were great.” • "Flowers were outstanding, best ever!” • The aroma of beautiful flowers filling the room coupled with the great officiant were magical." • “Bride and Groom, you did an amazing job selecting everything it is perfect…" well we fessed up and gave credit where it was due - Mary & Holly @ The Mount Washington Tavern did it all… we were actually hands off. • “Friendly staff.” Why would anyone go through the work of selecting a venue, screening caterers/various vendors when they could go to The Mount Washington Tavern and have most of it under one roof? Highly recommend it for a stress-free, beautiful wedding!

Camp Hidden Valley was the perfect venue for our wedding weekend! We were able to snag a June weekend for our wedding and it provided an incredible experience for us and our guests. The venue isn't too hard to find and as long as you communicate well with your guests the check in and check out our easy. There are multiple ceremony locations which is great since you never know what the weather in Maryland will do on a given weekend. The venue crew is easy to work with and were able to accommodate multiple pre-wedding day visits so we could get all of our ducks in a row. Extra shout out to Lindsay for being super on top of communications and overall a huge help!

Weddings at ‪Blue Pit BBQ‬ are a party: fun and easy! We provide excellent food, drinks, and staff. Whatever you need, we handle. Our space is unique, rustic, and versatile, including a bar area, upstairs, and outdoor patio. Our focused cuisine means that it is perfected and tasty. Weddings come with a full buffet that includes all our meats, sides, cornbread and slider buns, and our vegan jackfruit. We refill the buffet as needed, and pack up any leftovers. Plus, open bar! We greet guests with welcome cocktails and offer a wide variety of beer, wine, spirits, cocktails and at least 70 different whiskeys. We help with planning, desserts and have our own photo booth for you to use. We try to provide everything you need so all you have to do is show up and have fun! It's your party, you should enjoy it.

We rented half the upstairs area in Blue Pit for our rehearsal dinner and I have a feeling it won't be the last time we reach out to Blue Pit for an event or catering. Cara, the owner, is wonderful and very accommodating. The space is cute and quirky and doesn't need much decoration for events. The food is DELICIOUS every single time we visit and this was no exception. Our bartender and main point of contact for the night was Brad, who was amazing every step of the way. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Blue Pit every time. You can't go wrong here.

The Trolley House was the perfect venue for our wedding! From start to finish, the staff was so helpful, responsive, and a joy to work with. Their communication was clear, prompt, and made planning a breeze. The venue itself is gorgeous - the restored trolley barn features beautiful exposed brick and wood beams that provided a warm, rustic backdrop for our big day. The outdoor patio area was huge and accommodated all of our guests with room to spare. They helped coordinate all of the event timing and logistics seamlessly so we could just relax and have fun. On the wedding day itself, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I can't recommend The Trolley House highly enough for couples planning their special day!

If you are looking for an outdoor / garden wedding venue, I highly recommend Prosperity Mansion & Farm. It offers stunning scenery and affordable prices that will fit your budget. There is a charming, vintage bridal cottage and a mancave that brides and grooms can use and enjoy while getting ready separately for the day. I especially love the ceremony area; there are these gorgeous Egyptian doors the bride walks through to walk down the aisle. These types of doors are rare for an outdoor space. The tent for the reception is beautiful and has a unique brick patio area. But I think my favorite part about this venue is all the different little areas on the property, including the gaming area and a bird sanctuary that are so unique. There is a formal garden, a game area, a swing, and even a firepit for making smores. There are just so many places to take beautiful pictures, which I think is important to capture on such an important day. You can really get so much on your wedding day for such reasonable prices. Finally, Debbie the owner, really works with you in many ways.

We found it important to mostly use vendors who have worked at BMA before and are familiar with the rules. Both rooms were breathtaking on the wedding day! We were impressed with the number of staff BMA provided for our wedding day; all being super friendly and helpful. We can't wait to spend our anniversaries visiting the museum in the future.
