Oak Hill Farm is an elegant outdoor wedding venue nestled on a secluded estate near Galena, Illinois, a popular tourist destination in the Midwest. Our venue features four outdoor ceremony locations, a historic chapel and an all-white, open air pavilion (heat and window walls available as needed) that seats up to 250. We offer unique amenities, many vintage details and endless photo opportunities on our 170 acre private property.

The Ludlow Mansion is steeped in history from the early beginning as a homestead of a 3,000 acre farm and a stop on the underground railroad, to today as a preeminent regional gathering place for great events. Five suites are available for overnight accommodations and access for photos and videos can be obtained in this historic homestead. The Mansion's grounds invite guests to enjoy friends and family under the shadow of its four two-story columned porch or its great white pergola. The Saddle Room bar offers both a comfortable lounge around its famous sunken bar or a patio chair to watch the sunset over the Mansion grounds. Extensive indoor spaces include a cavernous Carriage Hall which allows for a fabulous ceremony space with three giant chandeliers and can be converted dance central with party lights for the perfect late night experience. The Wagner House, located in the historic Wagner Print Building, is a three-story industrial warehouse in downtown Freeport, Illinois. The building was built in 1903 and was one of the first buildings that had electricity in Freeport. Established in 1853 and incorporated on March 9, 1912, the Wagner Building was home to the German-born Wagner Family who, like Freeport, has a long and interesting history. The Wagner House also served as an industrial manufacturing spot for textiles and fashion. For four generations, the business did not change hands, and the present Wagner company pledged to continue their record of quality printing and letterpress and are still in business today. In 2013, The Wagner building was sold to Bill Green to redevelop and re-imagine it, creating a wine bar, business incubator, and beautiful event space.

We welcome you to Pheasant Valley Barn! The barn is nestled in a scenic valley in the middle of our farm. The Byrne family started dairy farming in Wisconsin after emigrating from Ireland in the 1870's. In 2003, we decided to renovate our 1890's barn. We added a new metal roof and restored the interior of the barn. To celebrate, we had a barn dance for Duane's parents' 40th anniversary. Thus began "The Party Barn". In the fall of 2018, our son Cory married his fiance, Jenny. It confirmed our idea of starting a barn venue and sharing our barn and farm with others. We have been asked many times, "Why don't you rent out this barn?" We have decided the time is right to diversify our farm and start this event business. We are so happy that we restored our barn. As more and more barns and farms are lost, our barn is preserved and now can be shared with others to create a memorable and special day for your event!

Barnwood Events is 10 minutes from Downtown Madison next to the Capital City Bike Trail in a park-like country setting. Built in 1914 as a Vaudeville theater, the Mineral Point Opera House was restored in 2009. It is both a movie theater and a live stage with music and theater events throughout the year.
