About this venue

Oak Hill Farm is an elegant outdoor wedding venue nestled on a secluded estate near Galena, Illinois, a popular tourist destination in the Midwest. Our venue features four outdoor ceremony locations, a historic chapel and an all-white, open air pavilion (heat and window walls available as needed) that seats up to 250. We offer unique amenities, many vintage details and endless photo opportunities on our 170 acre private property.

• 4 outdoor ceremony locations • Historic 1800’s chapel on site • 2 reception locations to suit micro-weddings and grand gatherings. An 1891 restored Barn serves as a cozy venue for the intimate reception up to 25 guests. Views of the pond and stream do not disappoint. For larger parties, our Pavilion provides an ideal location for events up to 250 people. • Multiple cocktail hour locations are available. • 2 ponds and a stream running through the property • Bridal Suite in a restored Barn • Groom’s Quarters in newly added space • New Pavilion with a 25′ vaulted ceiling and exposed beams. • Fire pit with bistro lights and seating for 10 • Interesting spaces to personalize your event…1800’s one-room Schoolhouse, recreated Country Store, restored Barn • Beautifully manicured grounds for endless photo opportunities • Woodshed Bar and patio for cocktail hour • Earl & JoJo, our resident free-range donkeys • Friendly staff members to make your day stress-free

• Table options include 60″ rounds, 8’x30″ banquet tables, serpentine tables, reclaimed wood harvest tables, high-top cocktail tables and more • Seating options include fruitwood Chiavari chairs, white resin folding chairs, cross-back chairs or wooden benches • Vintage decor items such as wagons, enamel topped tables, carriages, banners, wooden signs, chalkboards, ceremony décor, antique windows, vintage furniture, rugs, wooden frames, suitcases, lanterns and more • Cocktail hour setup in your choice of location • Horse shoe pit and corn hole game. • Rowboat for pond photos • Unique lighting throughout the venue including chandeliers, antique street lights and bistro lights • Linen, china and glassware rental coordinated at no additional fee

    Our wedding at Oak Hill Farm was an absolute dream! From our first communication with Becky, she was thorough, fast, kind, and detailed in answering all of our questions. On the big day, everything was set up exactly how we wanted it. It was perfect! Becky and her staff were so accommodating, helpful, and nice, making sure the event ran smoothly. As a bride, they treated me like the most important person in the world. The venue was breathtaking - I felt like I was in a real life fairytale! All of our guests and even our vendors couldn't stop raving about how beautiful Oak Hill Farm is. For any brides looking for the perfect rustic venue with an attentive team that will make you feel special, I highly recommend Oak Hill Farm!

    I have been dreaming about getting married at Oak Hill since I attended a wedding there at 9 years old. Becky and her team work tirelessly to make magic. We never needed or wanted for anything, staff was quick to offer golf cart rides if we needed it, bring drinks to our table without asking and provide a seamless experience. I have been an event manager in the wedding industry for close to 10 years and I had my full trust in her team and was able to turn my manager brain off for a day, which i so appreciate!
