I have been planning events for the last 20 years, on the side. I have always loved hosting people, and I've done a few bridal and baby showers. At my previous job, I helped plan several employee luncheons and holiday parties, with about 100-150 employees attending. I even led the planning a few times. In the summers of 2021 and 2022, I became an on-site wedding coordinator for a local venue, with 5 weddings each summer. In 2023, I coordinated 11 weddings (from full planning to day-of coordination), a large gala for non-profits, an annual fundraiser, a memorial service (for 300+ guests) and a surprise birthday party.

Believing that all moments in life are precious, Michelle took what was once a long time passion, and in 2008 turned it into a successful business. Michelle sees the importance of supporting the industry, so she is a member of the Professional Photographers of America association. Mount Pisgah Arboretum’s beautiful White Oak Pavilion is a 3,000 square foot building with large wooden glassed-in sliding doors that open on all sides to reveal the peaceful scenery and oak savannah landscapes of the Arboretum. Photo opportunities at Mount Pisgah Arboretum include our vast Oak Savannah, the Great Meadows, large canopied forests, a lovely sandy beach along the Coast Fork River, the beautiful Adkison Footbridge in our Water Garden, our vintage, photogenic barn and over 200 acres of majestic trees, paths and nature. Mount Pisgah Arboretum is a non-profit organization and our main mission is education. Your wedding rental fee goes directly into our children's education program. This helps the Arboretum bring out over 3,000 school children each year to discover nature on our guided field trips. This park is open to the public 365 days a year.
