By this point, I had already accumulated 15 years of experience shooting wedding videos and my wife simply couldn't understand why I wasn't booking my own clients. She encouraged me to explore the idea. So, here we are. I named my company after my wife, Ebony Ellyce Ávila.

I grew-up in Belém, the state of Pará, in Brazil. When I explain where Belém is, I always say it is next to the Amazon. I also say what a beautiful city it is. After Belém I moved to Rio, where I realized how much passion I have for photography. It wasn't until I came to Chicago that I could be myself and do what I love. In 2005 Tim started capturing wedding stories and founded Video Reflections. In 2018 his sons Trevor and Aaron caught his passion. Travis and Emily’s relationship started around the same time that Bella Tiamo began back in 2011. A few years and a wedding later Emily went from being the tag along on a wedding day to a crucial part of the Bella Tiamo Team.
