“I hired The Polar Peddler for the floral decor for my wedding and I was stunned with how perfectly Dana just 'got' my vision! I asked for jewel tones with an emphasis on varying texture. I didn't have many 'must have' flowers but I did have a few I liked and a few I didn't, and that's all I had to tell her! I had purchased some dyed/dried florals and peacock feathers before I organized with Dana and she was even willing to add these items in for me! “I had received a floral arrangement from Fleur de Lis before we got engaged and I had noted how beautiful and elevated it was, so when it was time to look at wedding florists, Lana (the owner) was the first one we called. Our consultation went so well - I was not 100% sure what I wanted, but showed some Pinterest inspiration and Lana asked all the right questions and showed us options on tabletop decor, flowers for the arrangements and bouquets/boutonnieres. We left feeling so confident and excited to receive the proposal - which we received super quick and signed immediately - we were so impressed with all of the details and pricing was very in line with what we were hoping for (we got married during Christmas time and the club was already going to be heavily decorated, so we didn't need as much as a bare venue would ). Some wedding florists in the area won't even talk with you unless you can meet a high $ minimum - Lana is not that way. She and her awesome team will provide the best service and the highest quality product for every single customer - which says a lot! On to wedding day... through all of our interactions, I knew I didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of - which was an amazing weight off my chest! The team showed up and set everything up well before it needed to be, and when we got our bouquets, I wanted to cry happy tears - they were PERFECT and everything that I had hoped they would be. The flowers were stunning, fresh, and such high quality. Everything was arranged and put together so well and they lasted and stayed beautiful all day. The boutonnieres, grandmother's corsage, and mother's mini bouquets were also perfection. During the cocktail hour we did a first look at the reception area and again, it was perfect. Tabletop decor, florals, candles, votives, etc. was everything we discussed and more. “I was so overwhelmed when I first started looking for florists for our wedding. There are so many options, and I didn’t even know where to start until I found Poppy. They break down the process and steps, making it super easy, almost to the point that it doesn’t feel real. To start, you meet with a floral consultant where you talk through your wedding details, the vibe you’re going for, the general needs, etc. Then they walk you through a list of various wedding floral options: bouquets, table arrangements, signage florals, ceremony florals, etc., and you start to narrow down what you want. In each section, they have a grouping of photos, and you can either select something from that or ask for more options. You can also tweak what they have shown (I picked florals that had eucalyptus in them and requested everything be switched to ruscus). After that, you have a while to go back in and adjust until a deadline, but they accommodated some last-minute adds I had as well. Our consultant was Sophia, and she was super responsive and wonderful to work with. Closer to the wedding, you get assigned a local florist who does the actual designing/styling and installing, and we were lucky enough to get Ron, who matched our inspo images EXACTLY. Everything was so beautiful, and I was so in love with my bouquet. He was also incredibly nice and set everything up so quickly. If you’re looking for something to make the whole floral selection easy, simple, and beautiful (also super transparent with costs), definitely go with Poppy!!”

Tiara went above and beyond what we even knew we were buying with the day-of coordinating contract. She was there for us for so much and helped us more than I could have asked. No detail was too small or nuanced for Tiara. I am a perfectionist with a keen attention to detail and Tiara exceeded every expectation I could have had. She never treated us like we were asking for too much and was flexible as we changed our minds on certain details. Tiara and Kelsie did an incredible job on the day of the wedding making sure everything ran smoothly. “As my fiancé and I started the wedding planning process, we joked that our loose theme would be “flowers and love.” We knew we wanted lots of beautiful, lush florals as the primary decor focus, and also knew we didn’t want to spend the many thousands of dollars to achieve that look with a standard florist. If you’re in the same boat, and have an appetite for some DIYing, I’d STRONGLY recommend working with Bloom Culture. After some Googling for DIY wedding florals, I came across Bloom Culture and spoke with Allison for a custom consultation. During the call, Allison helped me express the type of floral look we were going for, and built out a custom floral package that would achieve it. She also laid out the delivery and prep process, and we landed on a final package and timeline for delivery. We received a LARGE box of flowers the week before the wedding and were immediately pleased with the quantity and quality of flowers we had received. Allison’s guide mentioned that some crushed or damaged blooms would be completely normal, but everything was so well packaged we didn’t notice more than a few damaged stems. From there, the DIYing began. Between unpacking, trimming, de-thorning, trimming again, building bouquets, arrangements, boutonnieres, etc, etc, it was a LOT of work. However, we referenced Allison’s guides (written, video tutorials) religiously and they laid out everything perfectly. She strongly recommends having plenty of assistants -- pay attention to this advice! Find a few trusted friends or family members who have time and artistic ability and it will make all the difference in your stress levels. The flowers all lasted beautifully for the wedding and we received so many compliments on how they looked. Allison - thank you for everything!”
