Picking Watermark Solarium was truly the best decision we made when starting our wedding planning journey. They are easy to work with, effectively communicate and make sure we and our guests had everything we needed. It was also a huge win that we were able to get the airbnb next door, it made it easy to run back and forth if we forgot something while getting ready. The ladies and I utilized the bridal suite which is a must! We also used the outdoor ceremony space, which was breath taking. Our guests talked all night how much the loved the space and how friendly everyone was. We truly had the party of the year and a lifetime of memories because of this place.

Port was an absolute dream!! The venue itself is modern and gorgeous. My guest loved being able to spend the night dancing downstairs or chatting on the couches on the rooftop! Getting ready at the venue itself made my day much less stressful! The Port staff is excellent and goes above and beyond to make your day amazing. My photos from Kollen Park (nearby) are gorgeous against the water! Holland was a perfect long weekend wedding destination and I wouldn’t have changed a thing! Late night pretzels from The Knot Spot (nearby) were a hit too!!

We recently got married at Meyer's Castle, and it was an absolute dream come true. My husband, Jeff, and I fell in love with this venue at first sight. We love how private and intimate it is. The castle is completely gated and surrounded by dense trees. You would never know that such an oasis exists just outside of Chicago. When you enter the gate, you drive on a long driveway to the top where you see the castle sitting on the hill. It's quite impressive and reminds me of destination weddings in Europe. The best part is that you don't have to leave the country. We decided to opt for the outdoor reception, which is their most expensive option because it involves a plan B in case of bad weather. The plan B was to host a reception in one of their gorgeous ballrooms. We could choose between two. However, the outdoor reception was so worth it. We were lucky enough to have a perfect sunny day without it being too hot. The venue's booking manager told us that September is their most popular month for weddings, and now I understand why—the weather was absolutely perfect. The team at Meyer's Castle was very friendly, professional, and always responded to our questions in a timely manner. It was totally worth it to hire their Month-Off coordinator, Kate. She was amazing! They also have a list of preferred vendors who they don't force you to hire but recommend based on their experience with them. We hired a photographer and a cake vendor from Meyer's Castle's list, and we were extremely happy we did. The venue's newly renovated bridal suite is cute and elegant at the same time. It has beautiful baby blue peacock wallpaper and a grand gold mirror. They actually have real peacocks living on the property, so the wallpaper in the bridal suite really fits the theme of the venue. This place is awesome. You can have both the wedding ceremony and reception at the same location, which is very convenient and stress-free. I don't like ceremonies in the church, and I would choose over and over to exchange my vows with my husband in the beautiful, green, lush gardens with birds singing around us.

I can’t recommend a better venue! This venue was EVERYTHING! The owners, Brittany and Nick, are absolutely sweet and communicated promptly. The venue is family ran by having family doing different parts. The coordinator Lauren was the calmest ever and helped calm my nerves and handled all the issues without me even knowing. She and her team were amazing! Lauren helped give me the wedding of my dreams. This venue was perfect and the beautiful bridal suite is so spacious and beautiful! Also there’s an airbnb on property that me, my girls, and my mom stayed the night before (it can sleep 15 people). I could go on about my love for the venue and the caring people I’ve met that maintain the character and charm. If you want barn but also elegant…this is the venue for you!

Everyone says “Something will go wrong on your wedding day.” They don’t know the magic of the Morris Estate. It’s impossible to describe how perfect our wedding day was, not only for me and my husband, but also our wedding party and our families. Everyone involved got to spend the long weekend relaxing, having fun, and celebrating at this beautiful property without any worry of getting assigned random tasks or cleanup duties— the Morris Estate staff was ON IT every step of the way. At the helm was Ryan Bergstrom, our coordinator, who made the incredibly complicated task of planning a wedding feel easy. As an artist, I wanted every element to be unique and intentional, and was quite frankly worried that the Estate wouldn’t be amenable to a more avant-garde event. I approached them with the idea of hanging a large tapestry painting in the chapel and they got right to work with how they could make that happen. There were no requests that went unheard, and it was clear Ryan was a fantastic collaborator and coordinator in all aspects of planning. Plus, anything or anyone that you need, they have a great recommendation on deck— we found this to be true when seeking an officiant for our ceremony as well as a florist. Trudi and Cherry Road Homestead knocked the florals out of the park. The actual wedding ceremony couldn’t have gone more smoothly, with a comprehensive rehearsal in the chapel and the changing rooms in the basement, everyone was able to get ready on time and relax leading up to the ceremony. With about 100 people in it, the chapel felt intimate but gave guests plenty of room to breathe. It was a short, beautiful ceremony that was tailored exactly to our needs as a couple. Yet another fabulous aspect of working with the Morris Estate was the ease of transition throughout events. Cocktails were in guests’ hands before I could even finish bustling my dress. We never felt rushed, yet everything managed to happen on time. Ryan did a great job taking the time beforehand to meet any vendors not directly from the Estate, so everyone knew exactly what they needed to do their part. The reception was unbelievable. I’ve planned other events, designed movie sets and installation art, and was truly blown away by what they accomplished. It was so exciting to see all of the love and hard work that went into making our vision come to life and see the excitement on guests’ faces when they walked into the tent. It was colorful, magical and totally surreal. Now, to talk about the food. With the estate catering both the rehearsal dinner and reception we got to try just about everything on the menu. We were very pleasantly surprised at our tasting before the wedding. The Estate Manager Nate, Chef Tom and their team had tons of options for us that were as beautiful as they were delicious. Arguably, the most difficult part of working with the Morris Estate was having to pick just a few of the options for our customized menu because they were all. so. good. Our guests had so many kind words about how fun and joyous the entire evening was, and instead of worrying who was going to help clean up at the end of the night, the Morris Estate had it fully covered. Everything was organized back into boxes for us to take home the next morning. I’m sure I’m forgetting so many other wonderful things that the staff did for us, but we will forever be grateful for such an incredible long weekend full of love and celebration. TLDR: Everything was perfect.

My husband nor I are from Michigan (from the Chicagoland area) and everyone kept asking us "why Michigan?" The moment they walked in, they felt the same feeling I did when I first toured the venue. It is beautiful, unique, personal and was everything and more that I could have hoped for. Our wedding as at the end of June and we were very fortunate that the rain held off and the temperature/humidity ended up being perfect. We had about 185 guests attend the wedding and I think everyone was too stunned by the venue to even care about the drizzle of rain that was happening. Not to mention, Amelia and her staff are absolutely amazing from the very beginning to the very end.

Fernwood really is a hidden gem. The grounds are beautiful and their rates very affordable! They were very responsive to my many questions, and very helpful on the day of our wedding. They even let us use an extra classroom for the groomsmen to get ready in. They were also really flexible. You can’t really go wrong here, and the garden itself can be your decor! We also left one item behind by accident which we were able to pick up a few days later. Lots of “areas” to choose from for your day, too. Only complaint was the poison Ivy growing along some of the pathways, which were already fairly narrow. We just used alternate paths and it was no big deal!

From the moment we first reached out, the team was incredibly communicative, prompt in their responses, and truly personalized their service to our vision. The venue itself is one-of-a-kind, with a beautifully eclectic style that was worth every penny. The unique setup of the space allowed us to customize our day in the way that worked best for us and our guests. We had our first dance under the glorious chandelier in the dining room before dinner, while our guests sat around us, giving everyone a great view while sitting comfortably and providing excellent photo opportunities. Our wedding at Etre farms was absolutely perfect. The Etre team makes wedding plan a dream. I kept thinking to myself, "why am I not stressed yet..shouldn't I be stressed?" month over month ahead of our wedding day - but it's because they think of quite literally everything. Working with their team requires very little from the bridegroom to make your dreams and vision come true. This was especially important to use as we live in a different state and are on the go for work nearly every week. Of course you still need to offer input and share your general vision but they help walk you through details you may be unfamiliar with - we had a handful of meetings over the course of the year and everything we discussed was made a reality. When the wedding finally came, we couldn't have asked for a better day. From the hospitality throughout the getting ready period with our personal concierge and food/drinks provided, to the beautiful space they created with in-house florals (Nicole is amazing!), the best wedding food I've ever had (by far), the beautiful details and signage (shout out Elliana @ Brush Letter Boards) and Etre's amazing in-house DJ - our wedding guests were and still are raving. This review would go on and on if I tried to highlight all the little details this team thought of. We are genuinely sad the planning process is over because we loved meeting and talking with this team regularly - they are all very kind people - so easy to work with and operate like a well-oiled machine. Highly recommend this group and this venue!

The Old Winery is nestled in the huge wine cellars of the Lawton Lions Heritage Community Center in the village of Lawton. The center itself is a unique architectural structure of cobblestone, located in the heart of the “Fruit Belt” of southwest Michigan. the 1903 structure, a state and national historic site, is the state’s oldest standing winery building which make is an appropriate setting for the museum.

This venue was the best place ever. Malissia helped run everything smoothly and we got to choose from her decor for free. They had table linens and china included and the venue was so beautiful and perfect for our day. The pictures are magical. We got married in a blizzard but they helped everything happen as much as they could

Since 1830, this church has been a foundation of this community as the first and oldest recorded church within the quaint beach town of St. Joseph, Michigan. Now, we are opening our venue up to the community for booking weddings! Our rental fee for the ceremony space of $1385 includes: rental of the venue (indoor sanctuary/outdoor courtyard), officiant services, wedding coordinator, custodial services, and premarital counseling materials, and rehearsal time ($100 additional if you plan to serve food at the rehearsal). If the sanctuary is rented, the price also includes a computer operator/pianist & audio tech to run the sound system. The fellowship hall rental for reception is an additional $400-$500 ($400 M-F/$500 Sat-Sun).

I have participated in many weddings at Pathway as a guest and tech support person. It's been a pleasure to see how couples and families are so happy with their Big Day turning out just as they wanted. The church staff is easy to work with and open to incorporating your ideas. We worked with Elizabeth and Molly at The Inn at Harbor Shores for our wedding. We had a wonderful experience and so did all of our guests! Everything was executed flawlessly and the staff was extremely attentive during the reception and making sure everything flowed. We received so many compliments on the food and the venue itself! We had our wedding at Shadowland on June 1, and I'm not sure if there's enough room here to say how much we loved working with Charlie and his staff. From the minute we reached out to book the venue a year beforehand, Charlie was accessible, prompt, thorough and helpful. Through every step of the process, we could count on Charlie to work with us to make our day special. The venue is perfect, flexible and offers guests the most beautiful views of Lake Michigan before, during and after your reception. We can't say enough great things about this place!

From its historical beginnings as a stoic munitions depot, The Armory experienced a beautiful transformation to showcase a sophisticated ballroom, classy built-in bar and impressive commercial kitchen. Original element of the 1928 Armory construction and subsequent Newman Recreations Center were incorporated into the even space renovation to provide the perfect blend of past and present.Iron-barred doors used to secure armers and thick concrete walls reinforced with brick to accommodate the National Guard Armory and shooting range lend a rustic industrial aesthetic. Wood from the recreation center bleachers line the dramatic bar and the orginial hardwood floor was dressed up to grace the ballroom. The vaulted timber ceilings and exposed truss work allow the dazzling period chandeliers an opportunity to lend an air of elegance to the urban decor. Charm abounds in the union of classic architecture with a modern flair.

The Armory was absolutely the perfect venue for our August wedding. We got so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was! Megan served as our coordinator and she was amazingly organized, detail-oriented, and quick to respond to any questions we had throughout the process. She was also very flexible, willing to accommodate to our preferences, and work within our budget. Table decor, food, drink packages are all included which made coordinating the reception very easy. The food is through Navarre Catering is delicious - lots of great options to choose from!
