“The word that pops into my head when thinking about Cassandra's work is WOW. She was so professional and easy to work with in the lead-up to the wedding and we were entirely blown away by the final decorations and arrangements the day of. “Heather and Jay were incredible to work with. I truly cannot thank them enough. Heather did full decor for my whole wedding weekend. I had an Indian wedding so there were TONS of design needs (frankly more than I thought), and Heather accommodated every request and was so helpful through all the planning. We would have check-in phone calls, and she would walk us through spreadsheets with every tiny decor detail recorded. She was also very helpful with planning and was upfront about everything, gave us options to work through any budgeting/feasibility concerns, and helped with a lot of that wedding decision fatigue. Her husband Jay was instrumental in some of the more elaborate things we asked for, like balconies draped in greenery and a mandap stage. They did two site visits with us for our peace of mind so we could get every detail hammered out. Heather also made lots of great suggestions when I was out of my depth and coordinated with our venue. On the weekend of, I saw her once or twice but otherwise just trusted her absolutely to execute. And the actual decor! It was BEAUTIFUL. She turned our reception hall and outdoor wedding tent into a lush, colourful flower wonderland. We had a rustic barn onsite, and she draped the roof with poms and disco balls. She also used bright colours and dried flowers to brighten the indoors. Her husband Jay custom built us wooden pools for a Hindi haldi ceremony. Our wedding mandap was covered in beautiful roses, and it was magical to get married under. Each space felt distinct and memorable but all beautiful crafted. I could tell a lot of love and thought went into every part. Do not hesitate to book with Cullen Creations. You are in incredible hands. As a bride, I worried and hoped that my vendors would treat my special day which as much care as I was putting in. With Heather, I never had a doubt. “My wedding was last month and I am so BEYOND happy I chose VDL Brothers as my florist. Sonja is not only extremely talented but also attentive, reliable, supportive, and consistently went above and beyond to make my wedding flowers and decor special and personalized. My bouquet made me cry (happy tears) when I saw it. As did the boutonnières, wedding party flowers, and decor. Each bridesmaid bouquet, boutonniere and bud vase was unique and intricately done. She really listens to what you want and makes it a reality. During the early planning process she made a personalized event plan complete with my and her own inspiration pics, and kept it updated whenever I needed to make a change. Perhaps the highlight was the Bud Vase wall that she constructed from scratch for my seating chart. It was beyond what you see on Instagram and Pinterest. She also provided a chuppah which was more sturdy and beautiful than any I found elsewhere, and was hands on with managing the set up and take down of all the decor. I was worried about “spending so much on flowers” but honestly the flowers/decor/experience working with her was easily one of my favorite parts of my wedding, and worth every penny and then some.
