The Depot Event Space is situated in the historic heart of Gainesville, at Depot Park. The building was placed on the US National Register of Historic Places in 1996. The Depot began in August of 2016, and has rapidly grown into a desirable destination for weddings, reunions, birthday parties and more.

“The Depot Event Space hosted our wedding and they did a magnificent job. The location was beautiful, the staff were attentive and quick to respond, and the price was among the best in Gainesville. The associated food vendor was also fantastic - every single one of our guests complimented the food as being very good! “The venue is absolutely gorgeous and dreamlike!! They help you set up and clean up (clean up is extra). They have so many different locations within the venue to have the ceremony, and nice that they have one option inside just in case of rain. Also have a golf cart to help shuttle people from parking or the bridal party from the dressing domes. I had to call about a few questions and someone picked up immediately. Very professional and worked with us when we had a family emergency and had to postpone the wedding date. Highly recommended!!”
