The unique hour glass shape of the Figure 8 Barn was designed by William duPont, Jr. as an indoor horse training facility. The estate was purchased by the State of Delaware in 1976. Enclosed on three sides, the Music Garden is a peaceful oasis while still maintaining access to all that the park has to offer. The timeless stone patio with scattered wrought iron tables and chairs is shaded by a large veranda supporting a trailing wisteria vine. Take a step back in time at the Mount Pleasant Meeting House. Worsell Manor has an incredible history and a new life thanks to the loving restoration by its current owners. The estate was granted in 1683 and was a favored stopping ground for George Washington who enjoyed the parties thrown at this elegant and intimate property still nestled in natural woodlands and ag preserved lands.

The Barn at Flying Hills is a 100 year old barn with it's authentic stone walls, barnwood floors, and beautiful ceremony garden out back. The Barn seats up to 125 guests and you are welcome to choose your own caterer and vendors to bring with you to your unique wedding. With the ceremony garden out back and two separate event rooms included with the venue rental, there is plenty of room to have your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one place!

This historic estate sits on a secluded the 23 acre East Lake. The mansion can sleep up to 14 guests overnight. Minimum night stay is 2 nights unless the wedding guest list is under 35. We can accommodate up to 50 guests in the mansion for small indoor weddings. Tents and rentals and catering are by our selected vendors and we can assist with all of your wedding needs from music to flowers to makeup artists and hairstylists.
