“My wife and I had Lou DJ our upstate wedding and it was more than we could have dreamed of. From the beginning, he was nothing but professional. He met with us multiple times prior to the event to go over music selection, flow of the ceremony day etc. His website was very easy to use and allowed us to have a large role in our music selection for the day, even for the reception dance portion. Everything was reviewed at least 3 times to ensure there were no hiccups, and also to make sure we wouldn't have to worry about anything on the ceremony day. On the day, Lou came in very early to setup and his equipment was extremely unobtrusive and sounded amazing. From the ceremony to reception (and especially cocktail hour), the sound was fantastic and there was not a single hiccup (even with an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour!). His flow through the reception was so smooth - and as a former college radio DJ, his music choice to fill in the gaps between the 'must plays' we sent him were impeccable!!! “Justin was lovely to work with from the start. He was booked for another wedding, but he paired us up with Rob, an associate DJ of his. Both Rob and Justin were so so fun to work with. Rob took the time to text or set up whatever zoom calls we felt we needed. For the actual day, Rob was amazing. We had dinner service, reception, and "after party". Robs killed it with his flow between songs, and was incredibly accommodating and flexible if we had any requests in the moment, and was able to dodge or handle any "questionable" song requests that came his way. We knew that he always put my husband and I's wishes first. We also had multiple people comment on how good the DJ was during the reception, and after the fact! He also went above and beyond to pull heroics the day of to get some of our DIY spot lighting set up that wasn't set up the night prior. Rob was incredible to work with, and just as fun to chat with. “We had DJ Alan for our wedding and he was always very prompt with his responses leading up to the event. We had quite a few requests for him and he had no issue with any of them. Day of he was fantastic. Quick to set-up and tear-down and more importantly played great music. He was well setup for having an outdoor ceremony/cocktail hour and indoor reception. “Lucas knows his stuff but also makes a point to know your stuff just as well. He sees the big picture of your wedding day and is beyond generous with his knowledge. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to schedule time with him leading up to the wedding. He knew just what to say to ease our tensions with any part of the process and was helpful on all fronts, not just the music. Imagine a young Rick Rubin who’s going to make your day happen through fierce professionalism and calming holistic approach. Day of, Lucas was there early and making sure all the gear was working and problem solving on the scene to make the experience even better than we had talked about. He was able to not only have the music playing through the two large speakers we had planned for outside, but also got it seemlessly hooked up to the speakers throughout the interior space. This was key, because we had to last minute move the whole wedding inside due to rain. It was priceless to see see Lucas problem solving all of that with plenty of time to spare because I had so many other things to worry about with the shifting rain plans. I knew I didn’t have to worry about that whole part of it though, and the quality of the sound throughout the day really smoothed over all of the last minute adjustments and helped make everything feel like it was all part of the plan. When we were able to have our reception in 2022 we worked with Mike and he was so responsive. Our reception was very non-traditional as we did not do any type of ceremony, first dances, wedding party, or formalities that are typically associated with weddings. Mike was so flexible and worked with us to create the exact atmosphere that we hoped for. In the weeks leading up to the ceremony Mike met with us multiple times and asked us questions that we hadn't even thought to consider. He was so helpful throughout every step and definitely decreased the amount of stress we were feeling. We had guests request songs through the RSVP feature on Zola and then sent them over before the ceremony, and Mike made sure to play all of them, and used our own personal requests to set the tone for the night. We were nervous about having a DJ that wouldn't take our preferences into consideration but that was not the case at all, I absolutely recommend Soundz Amazing DJ Services for your events!”

“Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough.
