“We could not have had a better experience with Alex Nepa as our wedding DJ! We received so many compliments from guests that the music playlist was one of (if not THE) best that they’ve ever seen at a wedding! Alex had such cool transitions between songs and did an amazing job of gauging what would get the crowd going. Our dance floor was packed the entire night! As PSU alumni, we had mentioned that we wanted to enter the reception to a PSU song. Alex took that idea and ran with it - creating an AWESOME mashup of PSU fight songs and even included the lion’s roar sound from the stadium! Our guests absolutely loved it. Throughout the entire planning process, Alex was extremely helpful and responsive. He uses a user-friendly website that includes a thorough questionnaire to understand our music preferences, must-play songs, and do-not play songs. Our guests also loved the photobooth that Alex provided. The photos turned out a little blurry, but I think that’s just because of the neon sign that we chose to hang in the backdrop. He also brought such great energy to the wedding and was truly a joy to work with and have on the mic!”

“We hired DJ Chuck from mydeejay for our wedding on April 6, 2024 at Kent Island Resort, and it was the best decision! From our initial phone call, after interviewing a few different DJs from different companies, we knew Chuck would be the right fit. Throughout the planning process he was very accommodating, and the mydeejay planning portal was incredibly thorough and easy to navigate. Chuck arrived early to set up for both our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. His equipment was top of the line - everyone said our ceremony music (which was played outside during an incredibly windy day) sounded like live string music. His indoor set up was incredibly sleek looking. Chuck played all of our requested songs, cut them at the perfect places when needed (for ceremony and dances) and mixed in others that kept our dance floor packed all night - which is what we wanted most at our reception. “Funk Almighty was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!!! From the beginning, Daryl, the band's manager, was a dream to communicate with – always quick to respond and incredibly accommodating to our needs. “Mark was hands down THE best part of our wedding! He was so helpful during the whole planning process. Any questions we had he gave us the best advice. “I will just start by saying that hiring the Franklin & Alison Music Band was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding on 5/18/24 at the Atrium of Tenafly! We received so many compliments from all the guests for the quality of the live band we had; and to our joy, the dance floor was always brimming with people. We happened upon the band’s website via The Knot’s suggested music provider list and absolutely loved their sample videos, songs, pictures, and testimonials. From the get go, Laraine was a pleasure to work with - always clear, on point with her answers, considerate, personable, and compassionate. We spoke at length via several phone calls and email exchanges about our history as a couple and our music preferences and then we met in person to go over all the details and narrow down the list of our favorite songs, She paid close attention to the pronunciation of names, nailed the parent dance song suggestions and the timing of the different reception activities. Then Laraine, Keith and the band did an amazing job at compiling an extremely successful playlist customized to our wedding. “Petya is absolutely incredible- she’s the best! From our first phone call, Petya was warm and welcoming, professional and enthusiastic. It felt like talking to an old friend. She made the music process easy and stress-free, and even learned a song for our ceremony. We did not have a DJ, so everything relied on the violin. The background tracks filled in the music beautifully, and you could tell Petya gave it her all and played her heart out, and EVERYONE knew it! We had so many compliments on her and her music.
