For over a century, Cairnwood has been hosting wedding receptions within its halls. The tradition began with John and Gertrude Pitcairn opening their home for a marriage celebration in 1896. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Curtis Hall is surrounded by a 45-acre arboretum created by Frederick Law Olmsted, landscape architect for New York City’s Central Park. The “hall” is the original music ballroom of the 1893 Cyrus Curtis estate, "Lyndon". The capacity for dining and dancing is 200. Beyond the handsome wrought-iron entrance gates is a vintage setting of rolling hills, two ponds, an original pergola and 50 varieties of trees. Our picturesque gardens are exclusively yours when for the festivities from 6 to 11pm with a max capacity of 175 (some restrictions apply at the max guest count). You have 3 hours with a golf cart + driver to escort you throughout the lush grounds for wedding photographs. Morris Arboretum offers 6 caterers for you to choose from (this is contracted separately, not included in our rental fee). The Highlands offers a unique setting for your special day. Only 17 miles north of downtown Philadelphia, on top of a hill sits The Highlands. This elegant, two-centuries-old Georgian style mansion is surrounded by 44 acres of rolling hills and beautifully landscaped gardens. Completed in 1796, the mansion features fifteen foot ceilings and bright spacious rooms in addition to a 2 acre formal garden and the ambiance of the surrounding estate.

Tyler Gardens is a beautiful four-tier garden located in Newtown, PA. We are partnered with Open Aire Affairs to bring you a reception space in the gardens that host up to 300 guests.
