Drumore Mill is a different world. It is nestled in a corner of the most rustic township in Amish Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The mill was built in 1752 as a sawmill and a grist mill. It sits in a hollow with 30 acres of tall cliffs and old trees to provide privacy, warmth, and natural beauties. There is a pristine creek that meanders through the property. The Fishing Creek supports native trout and other rare small fishes. The waterfall is adjacent to the buildings. There is a hiking trail within the property. There is wetland and much more. The combination of rustic setting, natural beauties, and historical features makes Drumore Mill amazingly beautiful. One has to see it to believe it.

“Drumore Mill was an absolutely stunning venue to use for our special day (really weekend). We loved the ease of booking the venue, touring with Thuy, and the promptness and flexibility they offer. An added bonus is the available on site lodging for rental, which we made great use of for our close friends, family, and wedding party to stay in the night before and night of the wedding. We enjoyed the Great Room in the Grist Mill for our rehearsal dinner. Our guests loved how spacious Drumore Mill was, and we appreciated all the attention to detail such as included (but still optional) decor and greenery, and the setup of chairs and other items for the ceremony space. Being able to bring in all of our own vendors at no additional cost was fantastic. The value for renting the property from Thursday to Saturday morning was unmatched and completely worth it. We would recommend Drumore Mill to anyone, and we look forward to booking the property in the future for non-wedding related stays with friends and family.”

Mr. Renner made the decision to keep the original industrial scale for weighing wool, which you can still see inside our front foyer. Our first batch of Manayunk Brewing Company beer was tapped on October 17, 1996. Since then, we have brewed more than 600 different varieties of beers, and have been selling these sought-after styles all around Philadelphia and New Jersey. Our brewers continue to explore new takes on classic styles, especially when it comes to sour ales and India Pale Ales. You will no doubt see our delivery truck bringing goods to happy customers throughout the Philadelphia region! Mr. Renner’s daughter took over the building in 2004 and runs the restaurant and brewery along with her business partner Mike Rose. Since then, they have expanded the restaurant by installing a stone pizza oven and sushi bar, as well as a chic banquet space for weddings and meetings. We’ve also begun to offer kayak tours along the adjacent Schuylkill River during the warm months.

“We had our wedding here on 9/29/23 and our wedding day was completely stress free and everything was perfect! Deyna and Paris went above and beyond throughout the entire planning process and helped us with anything we needed along the way. The food was delicious and our guests came up to us multiple times throughout the night to let us know. The signature cocktails we selected also tasted great and the service was top notch. It rained on our wedding day so we did not get to use the deck but the space held all of our 110 guests just fine. We did get to do our first look and pictures outside and the scenery is perfect for wedding photos. Highly recommend Manayunk Brewing Company for your wedding! - Michael & Jordan.”
