The Old Rugged Barn property is extremely versatile and the perfect location for your rustic wedding and reception. On the property, there is a large main barn with a 2000 sq ft main floor and a large loft overlooking the aisle and dance floor. In addition to this main building, a large enclosed pavilion and grain bin gazebo also sit on the property, with multiple pastures surrounding it for either parking purposes or use for event activities. The venue has sleeping accommodations for up to 10 guests, which makes it an ideal location for those looking for more than just a reception hall or banquet center. The venue features a full kitchen, seating area, 2 full bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, 2 pull out couches, the ballroom, and lounge/billiard room where there's plenty of room for mingling with your guests after dinner! There's also a bar area where you can enjoy drinks before or after dinner if desired!

The Mt. Zion Convention Center is a multipurpose meeting and convention facility located in the newly constructed Mt. Zion Village East building along State Highway 121. Modern in design and technology, the Convention Center will serve Mt. Zion and our surrounding community as a destination for local and regional events. It has a grand ballroom that can be divided into three smaller rooms as well as three other small meeting rooms. The grand ballroom contains 11,000 square feet of unobstructed exhibit/meeting space, full-service catering, and experienced staff to help coordinate events of many sizes from as few as ten people to as many as 800 guests!
