I was broke so he let me pay him in $5 installments, he taught me how to use it, I fell in love! I shot on only film for a few months before I dove into digital as well! People began asking me to take their photos and I was in love! Capturing important moments has become one of my favorite things!

I got my first little film camera for Christmas when I was 8 years old. Looking for things to photograph filled me with so much joy and I would be giddy with excitement when my mom would bring home the developed photos for me to look through.

The experience of my own aisle moment is at the heart behind why I choose to document wedding days: to create light-filled reminders of the greatest promise I've come to know. I looked up from my mama’s embrace to see my future husband walking away from the altar...he was coming to meet us halfway down the aisle. This made journeying towards the greatest act of faith something we did together. I was sure grateful to have two sets of hands in mine for those final steps!
