The Barn at Shady Grove is a Magical rustic wedding venue located in North Alabama just inside the bankhead forest in Double Springs, Alabama, just 8 miles from Smith Lake. The Venue sits on its own property right off hwy 195. The venue was built specifically for weddings and offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces. Total climate controlled & fully insulated with air conditioning and heating in all seasons. The Barn is a comfortable 70 degrees inside all year around. A 35KW Generac Generator also stands by ready to backup the main facility during adverse weather. Wedding ceremonies can be held outside on the lawn with a barn reception or couples can choose to hold both the ceremony and reception inside the barn underneath the $30,000 Chandelier or on stage. Hillside Ninety-One is a private event venue in Alabama, 5 miles from exit 291 off of I-65. Located 33 miles north of Birmingham, 50 miles south of Decatur & 74 miles south of Huntsville, Hillside Ninety-One is the perfect in-between location for an event in North Central Alabama. The black barn, constructed in 2020, is a break from the long-running rustic barn trend and offers a classic and charming space with a modern industrial twist. Nestled into the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, the black and white barn features a 3,300 square foot indoor event space with 24 foot vaulted ceilings and exposed 10x10 solid wood columns. Mathews Manor was built in 1930 and first opened as the Forks Inn Restaurant. It then became a private residence and was purchased by the current owners Debbie & Harold Mathews in 1999. After some remodeling, Rebecca Gardens first opened in 2001 for weddings and special events. Grace Hall was built and opened in 2003 to fulfill the desire to offer space for larger weddings & events. Across the street, Micah's Meadow held its' first wedding in 2009 and offers a peaceful outdoor setting for your ceremony.
