I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska surrounded by weddings and events. My family owns an event venue there still. I took a detour and played professional golf for a number of years before A. Cakes was born in 2021. It was only fitting that I come full circle and work back in the wedding industry where my heart truly lies. I am in love with the process of learning, practicing and executing new and fun techniques on my clients’ cakes. More than that, creating a cake for someone’s special day gives me the most warm feeling. It’s truly why I do what I do.

I was born and raised in a small town in the Philippines. I lived in California for 14 years and before moving to Arizona, I met my husband and my children (our lovely dogs). Chez Peachy was originally founded in 2016 in Montreal, Canada, and then moved to NYC, and finally relocated to Tucson, Arizona. “Chez Peachy” is a French term that means "At Peachy's Place". "Peachy" was a nickname given to me from birth.

Back in college, Greg Golden got a laugh out of his wife (then girlfriend) by suggesting that they should sell pretzels shaped like mustaches. Five years later, Greg quit his forensic accounting job to do just that. Armed with a little more then a clever slogan and a balky old box truck, Mustache Pretzels hit the streets in march 2014, and hasn’t looked back. Why mustaches? Why pretzels? Because great mustaches aren’t born – they’re bread.
