Wayfare Tavern is the perfect gathering place for groups of all sizes. With three unique private dining rooms, we offer several options to accommodate intimate family dinners, weddings, rehearsal dinners, cocktail receptions, corporate events, social gatherings, and even full restaurant buyouts.
Our event spaces
BARTLETT ROOM
Named after Lt. Washington Bartlett, who is credited with the naming of San Francisco, the room features mahogany paneling and hardwood floors.
Our large private dining room, located on the third floor, accommodates both large and small groups and is the ideal venue for seated dinners, corporate meetings, cocktail receptions, and wine tastings for up to 50 seated or 65 standing guests, 60* seated with rentals.

The Bartlett Room has five large tables which can be arranged end to end for a king's table, or ‘school room’ style. The room is equipped with both a sound system and large flat-screen TV that can be used for video presentations. A new bar has been installed in the room for your cocktail party needs.

SEQUOIA ROOM
The Sequoia is the penthouse of Wayfare Tavern, located on the 4th floor w/a Skylight view of the Transamerica Pyramid this room was designed to WOW
It's the perfect private lounge, and private event space. Versatile enough for all of your hosting needs, great for large and small gatherings. The creative vision by legendary Ken Fulk pays homage to the building’s history with the re-purposing of the vault, transformed into a secret seating area.

BILLIARDS ROOM
Our private room on the second floor may be rented as a pool room or a dining room.
The Billiards Room is housed within the cozy, wood-paneled library on the second floor. The room accommodates up to 14 people max.

The Billiards Room features an antique tin ceiling, a vintage red felt pool table that doubles as your dining table, and double-paned glass doors. Equipped with a high-definition flat-screen TV with all major sports and entertainment channels, this is the perfect spot to play pool, watch sporting events, and enjoy some of our canapés or family-style favorites. You can play pool by request with any 4hr rental

Beautiful location for small event
Wayfare Tavern was the perfect venue for our wedding celebration. From the very first interaction, the staff was punctual, clear, and honest in their communication, putting us at ease throughout the planning process. On the day of, their attentive service and classy, warm atmosphere created a truly private and special experience for us and our guests. The quality of the food and overall event execution was outstanding, and we are so grateful to Wayfare Tavern for helping make our wedding day so memorable.
Rehearsal Dinner of our Dreams
We had our rehearsal dinner at Wayfare Tavern in their private Sequioa Room on the 4th floor and it was magical. Coordinating with their team was seamless and the food and service was just phenomenal! It really set the tone for an amazing weekend!
Wayfare Tavern delivers Amazing weddings
I feel fortunate to work at the Wayfare Tavern, they are organized, professional and the food is delicious. The atmosphere takes you back to old San Francisco, classic and elegant. The food, especially the Fried Chicken and Deviled eggs are always a hit. I love the staff, they are kind, competent and happy to be there. Andrea is easy to work with and cares deeply about their clients and their events. I cannot say enough positive things about weddings at the Wayfare Tavern.
