Tuckerman Hall, designed in 1902 by Josephine Wright Chapman, one of America’s first female architects, is a neo-classically designed hall of exceptional beauty, perfect for weddings, concerts and other civic and social occasions. The Hall has a capacity of 200 for weddings.

Parking is available for a fee immediately adjacent to Tuckerman Hall in two lots containing 65 spaces at 39 Salisbury Street; an additional 20 complimentary spaces are available at 10 Institute Road; Tuckerman Street has 25 on-street parking spaces; and the municipal lot a block and a half away from Tuckerman Hall at the corner of Harvard and Highland Streets has 95 spaces.

Tuckerman Hall has an all-alcoholic liquor license and is the exclusive purveyor of all alcohol and beverages for all weddings. Bars can be open, cash, or a combination of both. Wine service is also available and virtually any wine or special liquor (with advance notice) is available for your event. All patrons consuming alcohol must be age 21 or older.

A non-refundable $1,500 deposit is required to reserve a date for your event at Tuckerman Hall. The deposit will be credited toward the total fee. A second non-refundable deposit of one-third of the anticipated total fee is due 10 days before your reception date. The balance of all fees is due the day before your event.
