The Fireside Room

The Fireside Room offers a warm and intimate space, perfect for couples desiring a cozy yet elegant ceremony. Nestled against the ballroom, this space seamlessly transitions from a heartfelt ceremony to a jubilant celebration, all in one enchanting location. If you choose to hold your ceremony at one of our other locations, this space can be used as additional reception space.

A Serene & Sacred Ceremony Atmosphere.

Located just a block from our reception venue, this charming space, with its authentic brick exterior, beckons for an intimate and solemn ceremony. Inside, you’ll find classic wooden pews and stunning stained glass windows that create a serene and sacred atmosphere. Located just down the block, within walking distance, from the WOH.

An Unforgettable Beginning to Your Big Day.
Enhance your wedding experience at Moundale Manor with our exclusive day-of preparation or overnight stay options. The bridal party can revel in the luxury of the mansion on the eve of the ceremony, enjoying a night of relaxation and bonding. On the big day, prepare in comfort and style within the manor’s elegant rooms. After the celebration, the newlyweds can retreat to the romantic privacy of our honeymoon suite.

We have four rooms available, accommodating up to 8 overnight guests total. Those walking in your wedding can join you at the manor to get ready in the morning! Rooms start at $250 each + staffing and cleaning fees.

A most special day
After dreaming of marriage and a wedding my whole life, my husband and I finally got to experience all of that. The Winchester Opera House staff made our wedding and planning a dream! They have several options to meet your desires - from the beautiful ballroom, amazing food and drinks, bridal party prep areas (even a special area for the guys, or everyone!), a chapel, beautiful outdoor wedding space, and more right in the heart of downtown Winchester. We had an afternoon wedding with a brunch-themed reception. People are still complementing the food and entire experience, even 7 months later! Many shared some of the food was the best they've ever had. My husband is a foodie, so that part was important to him. The team discussed our desires, brainstormed with us, and created a reception beyond our expectations! We chose to hire the WOH coordinator as our wedding planner (an additional cost that was totally worth it and a deal compared to the cost of other wedding planners). The coordinator and assistant were present at the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. Remaining their friendly selves, they also kept our large family on schedule and got everyone where they needed to be on time. We even gave them the challenge of getting 9 kids ages 20 months to 8 years old down the aisle and in their places, and the coordinators didn't hesitate to make it happen and work out kinks along the way. At the reception, they remained available, and one stayed close to us to make sure we were getting what we needed (and wanted)! My husband said the only thing he would change is to make it all last longer. We both loved our entire wedding rehearsal and dinner (we rented the WOH gallery for the rehearsal dinner), wedding, and reception. I highly recommend celebrating such a special event through the Winchester Opera House. They will work hard to accommodate your dreams!
