About this venue
The Lodge at KLM Park is surrounded by 52 acres of beautifully appointed parkland. Built in 1927 and designed by R. Harold Zook, one of the most renowned residential architects in the western suburbs, The Lodge exudes grace and elegance. It is as versatile as it is engaging, welcoming a variety of special events and occasions from weddings to social functions. The first floor of the English-style building is alive with character, providing a spacious living room with a fireplace, a piano, dining room, kitchen, alcove, and access to the beautiful patios and surrounding grounds that may be used for outdoor event space.

The Lodge has a number of pre-approved special event vendors including caterers, alcohol purveyors, and a full service tent rental company, to provide anything you may need for your special day.

Beautfiul venue but disorganized staff
The Lodge itself and the grounds are beautiful! However, the event manager was very disorganized and rude at our walk-through a few weeks before the wedding. On my wedding day another staff member of The Lodge was there and contradicted everything we discussed at the walk-through. Although we kept them in loop throughout the process of creating the master timeline of the day, which stated that the last dance would be at 11:30pm, the staff memeber told my DJ to shut off the music at 11pm and would not let us have our last dance. It's a truly beautiful venue and it's a shame that the staff were difficult to work with and caused unnecessary stress on our wedding day.
KLM is a GREAT Venue
We love working with the team at Katherine Legge Memorial Lodge. The venue is in a great location and is very easy to work at, especially with their full kitchen on-site. It's a beautiful venue for events of all kinds!
