About this venue

The Cheney Place is a warehouse for those who can't wait to design their "urban meets vintage meets modern" wedding. We hope our building will woo you with its polished concrete and original hardwood floors, its frosted warehouse windows, and it's turn of the century freight elevator. The open format and crazy flexible space screams of possibility. And we just happen to host the area's largest collection of vintage furniture rentals onsite to make design a whole lot easier. We love old buildings. And we love great design. But what we really love is pulling it all together to help you create an amazing day!

The Cheney Place was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, their communication was friendly, fast, and comprehensive - they answered all of our questions and provided helpful guidance every step of the way. On the day of, their team executed everything flawlessly, setting up the beautiful, clean, elegant, and fun space to perfection. They made the whole event run so smoothly that all of our guests, family, and vendors raved about it. The Cheney Place was the perfect venue for our wedding. They communicated great throughout the entire planning process, always responding promptly to our questions and providing helpful guidance. The quality of their work was absolutely unique and beautiful - they decorated almost everything, including setting up all the tables and centerpieces. We helped a bit but they really made the custom photobooth that was a huge hit with our guests. The Cheney Place team went above and beyond to make our special day truly memorable. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding. Absolutely perfect, made my day the best day ever

No, we have our own bar service you are required to use! We created our bar service, PUNCH, because weddings in Beer City should have better drinks. Our packages included eight beers on tap featuring six local crafts and two domestics. Glassware is included with all packages at no additional cost.

Yes, we have an attached parking lot + free street parking around the building.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible.

Yes. We require all clients to select a caterer from our preferred catering list. All our caterers are great and offer a variety of choices!

1) Design: We will meet with you to develop a custom floor plan for your event and assist with linen and tablescape options, 2) Event Setup: Setup tables and chairs and stage all personal decor, 3) Tear it Down: When your party is over, we’ll pack it all up and put everything in the boxes they came in, 4) Month and Day of Coordination: We’ll help plan your full timeline and coordinate details with your vendors the week of your event. Our team will manage your event including ceremony, entrance, toasts and sendoff and will work closely with your vendors to ensure everything runs smoothly.
