About this venue

We are a nonprofit multipurpose sports and activities center in Downtown Los Angeles. Our mission is to provide a facility for youth, families and seniors that offers sports, community activities, and opportunities to connect visitors to Japanese American culture and a vibrant, sustainable Little Tokyo. We have 5 main rental spaces (Plaza & Stage, Terrace, Community Room, Courtyard, and Gym) and an underground parking lot. Plaza & Stage: The perfect setting for weddings, concerts, and events of all kinds. Strands of bistro lighting are draped above while lush vegetation, trees, and shrubs surround the plaza. Terrace: The outdoor terrace wraps provides views of Los Angeles St and the Plaza & Stage below. Green space adorns the terrace, which also features a children's playground, community garden, and mural. Community Room: This multi-purpose room accommodates classes, meetings, and more. Features a built-in TV and floor-to-ceiling glass that provide views of the courtyard.

The outdoor second-level terrace wraps around the North and East sides of the facility, providing views of Los Angeles Street and the plaza and stage below. Area of green space adorn the terrace, which also features a children's playground, community garden, and mural.

Community Room & Courtyard

The indoor space is perfect for a bridal and/or groom's suite while the outdoor is perfect for photos or a cocktail hour!

The multi-purpose community room accommodates classes, meetings, workshops, and countless other activities. Features a built-in LED TV for presentations and floor-to-ceiling glass that provides views of the courtyard. This space can be divided with a built-in partition. The outdoor courtyard is set with trees and a rock garden. Surrounded by glass windows on either side , it offers an indoor, outdoor ambiance and is perfect for meetings, classes, ceremonies, and as a meditation space.

Gymnasium

Large indoor space transformable for any type of event!

Gymnasium: The gymnasium can be used for both sports and non-sports use. Sports Use - The indoor gymnasium features two basketball courts, four volleyball courts, and a competition space for martial arts. Seating for up to 600 spectators. Non-Sports Use - With the gym floor covering system, the space is completely transformable to host any type of event. Equipped with a sound system. *Note, in order to use this space for non-sports use a floor covering is required at an additional fee.
