About this venue

Sugar Lake Lodge is a 135 acre estate with a seven acre private lake surrounded by Lake County Metro Parks. It features a gorgeous 6,700 square foot lodge & event center with an 1,800 square ft. private suite fully equipped with kitchen, fire place, and elegant bathroom all with a slight rustic feel. There is also a steam room for guests to unwind and enjoy. In addition, there is a lakefront event center with dual inside and outside fireplaces, and accommodations. For a more remote and primitive experience, there are secluded cabins complete with bathrooms and a pavilion with cooking grills sinks and fire pits amidst beautiful hiking and horseback riding trails.

The Lodge is an indoor, upscale, venue with outdoor and indoor capabilities and options. The Lodge is climate controlled and has seven bathrooms in the facility. There are possibilities for every aspect of an indoor or outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception included with the lodge. There are even two getting ready suites for both bridal parties, 3 solariums and a cigar lounge! The main hall for reception is a large space with high ceilings and easily rivals our tent receptions at the Sugar Camp. Dance the night away at the Reception Hall. The perfect setting for dinner, drinks, and busting a move with your new spouse. The reception hall at The Lodge has an outdoor ceremony area right behind it and features a cocktail bar, a cigar lounge and a balcony. Count your blessings - not your mimosas at The Bridal Suite. A charming suite ideal for bridal party prep on the big day and a place to lay your heads next to each other that night.

The Sugar Camp venue, which is right along Sugar Lake, is our outdoor venue and ceremony site; it has a romantic, and charming feeling with a pavilion available to your use along with four darling themed cabins that all have bathrooms for your event.and There are two outdoor ceremony options, two getting ready spaces for the bridal parties, space for an outdoor cocktail hour and lakeside green space to add tenting for the reception. Every tent wedding at the Sugar Camp is magical and full of breathtaking views! Underneath the big oak tree you will find our Lakeside Ceremony space. The lakeside ceremony space is a picture perfect setting to say your “I do’s”. Let the foundation of your marriage start off under our solid, grand old Oak tree. Our rustic charm will make you fall in love again at The Sugarhouse. Walk down the aisle in front of our rustic Sugarhouse. This intimate space sits adjacent to our lake and offers a shaded area under the trees for your guests to enjoy the ceremony.

Additionally, a blend of sophistication and panache defines our Sugarhouse Reception Hall. Have your reception in our pavilion or outdoors in a tent. With billowing fabric ceiling and the warm glow of string lights, guests will feel as though they’ve stepped into a whimsical garden party. The team at Sugar Lake Lodge loves tailor making each wedding day to be as unique as each couple. If you can dream it, we can make it happen! There are all inclusive packages along with customizable package options. Our goal is to bring your wedding dream to life but also to make it fun and stress free for you, your family and friends! We have a preferred vendor list that you have access to when you book the space and Sugar Lake Lodge only works with the best vendors in the area, so you can relax and rest assured our team and vendors will curate a day you will never forget.
