About this venue
Located in the heart of the picturesque seaside village of Rockport, Massachusetts, the Art Association is the perfect setting for your special event. The award-winning fine art on display that surrounds your guests creates a unique and elegant backdrop for your special day! Many hotels, inns, and bed & breakfasts are conveniently located within walking distance of the Rockport Art Association & Museum for guest accommodations. With all of the activities and lodging available right in town, many couples choose to make their wedding a weekend-long celebration for their guests. Plan your seaside wedding with us!
The Martha Moore Room serves as an intimate suite for the Wedding Party. Charm your guests with a grand entrance down the stairway that connects to the Cirino Interlude and enjoy the elegant courtyard space for an intimate officiation! The Maddocks Gallery is often used for ceremonies and houses our baby grand piano. The Hibbard Gallery serves as the main reception area, accommodating up to 125 guests for a traditional sit-down dinner with space for a band or DJ, and plenty of dancing!

Beautiful, Cozy Venue for Unforgettable Wedding!
The Rockport Art Association & Museum provided the most perfect backdrop for our wedding day. Their communication throughout the planning process was prompt, helpful, and creative, making the experience seamless. The venue itself was beautiful, cozy, and elegant, with incredible art that set the tone for our special celebration. Our guests raved about the wonderful experience of attending a wedding in such a stunning, artistic space. We are so grateful to RAA&M for helping to make our wedding day truly unforgettable!
Beautiful, colorful museum wedding venue!
We immediately fell in love with RAA&M from the moment we walked in, but little did we know just how perfectly the colors, artwork, and overall vibe would mesh perfectly with our vision and personalities for our wedding day. We wanted a rainbow-artsy-cozy feel for the venue, and we barely had to do any decorating to make that happen. It was absolutely gorgeous and we're so happy to have chosen it for our wedding day. The venue coordinator is very skilled at her job and made sure everything went off without a hitch. My only (minor) complaints are that we didn't get as much time for the rehearsal as we felt we needed, and it felt a bit rushed as a result (and added some unneccessary stress to the day before our wedding). In addition, some of the details about the venue (like the fact that they do the placing of the table placecards, table numbers, and put together our candy table for us) were not clearly communicated, which caused some mild reshuffling of duties the day before. But all in all, those minor issues I would gladly take on again, as they are nothing compared to the horror stories other people have at different venues! Overall, we're so pleased with RAA&M and would have our wedding there again in a heartbeat.
