~Stunning and versatile ballroom, amazing food, unbeatable service, and rave reviews~ Northern Lights Ballroom & Banquet Center is a family owned venue located in Milaca, MN, which can host both ceremonies and receptions. Northern Lights offers four beautiful spaces to choose from with seating from 40 up to 400 guests. Our ballroom is timeless, featuring a dropped tray vaulted ceiling, and eight gorgeous chandeliers that shimmer off the ceiling, it is a must see! Great location, yet set back for a privacy and a welcoming atmosphere. We provide full service on-site and off-site catering and bar service. Our room rental includes set up, clean up, tables, chairs, your choice of white/ivory/black table linens, dinnerware, central sound system, staff, event planning, and an event coordinator. From there all you need to choose are your food and beverage options. *Now offering 1/2 off room rental November 2024 through March 2025 or November 2025 through March 2026!*

My husband and I got married at the Northern Lights Ballroom & Catering venue and were thrilled with the experience from start to finish. Their communication throughout the planning process was wonderful - the staff was responsive, friendly, and really made sure we knew what to expect at each step. On the big day, the ballroom looked absolutely beautiful. The decor was elegant yet understated, perfectly enhancing the venue's natural charm. And the food was fantastic - all of our guests raved about the amazing dinner and desserts the catering team prepared. Everyone we interacted with was so nice, patient, and seemed genuinely invested in making our wedding day perfect. We couldn't recommend Northern Lights highly enough to any couple planning their special celebration!

Yes, they are all you can eat during dinner service (about an hour and a half). Guests are welcome to come up and grab seconds or thirds if they would like.

Yes as long as it is by a licensed baker or bakery (ex: Wal-Mart, Costco, privately owned bakeries are all okay)

Yes you are welcome to bring in your own photographer, entertainment, and cake (as long as it is prepared by a licensed baker or bakery)

Northern Lights provides full service catering and bar service (all food and beverage is provided through us). We are a family owned business so my wonderful mother is our chef. We have rave reviews on the food and a lot of the recipes are come from our long line of great chefs!

Absolutely! You can bring in your own, we have pieces you can rent through us, or we work with a local decorator who does a great job and is priced very reasonable (she offers ceiling draping and lighting, back drops, up lighting, centerpieces, chair covers, ext.)

There is a cash bar set up fee: -$75 if you rent our private dining room -$95 if you rent the front or back ballroom -$195 if you rent both ballrooms From there guests can pay for their own drinks of you can choose to host items if you would like to (ex: kegs, wine, drink tickets, open bar)

Sunday through Friday events we open at 12:00pm Saturday events we open up as early as 10:00am

Last call for bar service is 12:30am, all guests/decorations/entertainment need to be out by 1:00am (city ordinance)

Absolutely! We are generally available Tuesday through Friday's from 9:00am to 4:00pm, or Saturday's during events typically late morning. *Please call or email to set up a tour time
