About this venue

Catalyst is a brand new, modern venue that immerses you in nature, yet boasts all of the modern amenities that you crave for a luxury wedding. Located in Nisswa, MN we have 14 wooded acres on Clark Lake with 2,200 feet of shoreline, a private beach, and a private island. The venue holds up to 225 and includes a reception room, indoor ceremony room, outdoor ceremony site, two-story lobby, two getting ready suites, an outdoor patio, and more! Construction is well underway and we are currently booking weddings for Sept 2022 and beyond. Check out our website to see more building renderings and photos as we bring the venue design to life! On-site lodging is available at Nature Link resort where we have 10 luxury units available for booking in 2022 with more units being added annually! Reception Room

The reception room boasts panoramic lake views and is where your guests will enjoy the dinner and dance portion of the night!

The reception room is separate from the ceremony site, so a room flip is never needed. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook Clark Lake so you have a beautiful view of nature, with the comfort of being indoors. The large reception space is connected to the kitchen and bar for your vendor's needs and accesses the spacious lobby so your guests can enjoy cocktail hour inside the reception space or in our lobby and patio area. We will help you create a floor plan based on your guest count and head table

Indoor Ceremony Room

The indoor ceremony room overlooks Clark Lake giving a stunning waterfront view out the windows and it has also a grand fireplace as your backdrop!

Our indoor ceremony option is in a separate room from the reception space so that if you choose to use it, you will never have to worry about flipping the room. The indoor ceremony space has floor-to-ceiling windows at the front of the room that overlooks Clark Lake and our private island, along with being in a canopy of pine trees. There will be an interior fireplace that will be used as a backdrop that you can decorate with florals, or whatever you prefer to make your vision come to life.

Outdoor Ceremony Site

This woodsy setting is a magical spot for an outdoor wedding ceremony!

Our exterior ceremony site is tucked back in the forest amongst the towering pine trees. The paved area has bench seating for up to 225 guests and will include an arch for you to decorate as your backdrop. The aisle walks you down a beautiful path through the trees!

Lobby

Our two-story lobby will be an impressive first impression when your guests enter the front doors and is the perfect spot for an indoor cocktail hour!

A grand staircase welcomes your eyes towards the view of the lake from the two-story windows at the back of the building. There will be a lounge area with some cozy seating around a fireplace, and our unique bar layout will offer bartending services through the lobby so that cocktail hour can be wherever you want it to be! Up the stairs, there will be a secondary lobby area that overlooks the first floor for additional space and a beautiful backdrop for photos.

Outdoor Patio

This outdoor patio space overlooking the lake is the perfect spot for your social hour to be held outside when the weather permits!

Our bar can serve from 3 separate oversized serving windows: one in the lobby, one in the reception room, and one outdoors on the back patio. This will allow the flow of the event to work great, and also gives you and your guests a few different options for cocktail hour service. The outdoor patio area overlooks Clark Lake and is a stone's throw from the water's edge. There are steps to take you down to the lakefront where we have many docks. We'll have heaters, a fireplace, and yard games!
