Picking M. Wells as my wedding venue was the best decision I’ve ever made. You feel like you’re part of their family the moment you reach out. Sarah was so easy going and positive and flexible. Everything we asked, she said yes to. They are so supportive of whatever you want, whatever will make your day special and unique to you. The space is stunning and unique and can accommodate the ceremony and reception with different configurations to accommodate small to medium weddings. We had 75 guests and it was ideal. It’s intimate, cozy and just so special. The neighborhood is fun and trendy and makes for amazing pictures. And I promise you will not get better food for the price anywhere else. It’s the best deal in NYC. There is no set menu to choose from - you tell the chef what you like and they come up with amazing, inventive dishes, personalized to you and the season. The food was incredible and impressive and bountiful. We even had a poutine course after dessert! All my guests said my wedding was the most fun, unique wedding they had been to and everyone raved about the food. It was pure magic and love from start to finish. I would give anything to relive that day again. M. Wells forever ️

Shortly after my girlfriend and I started frequenting M. Wells we started joking that we should get married there. Several years and many delicious meals later we did just that, and it was everything that we hoped that it would be. We knew that we wanted a relatively small guest list (we had around 50 people) and that we wanted it to be a big dinner party where everyone could feast to their hearts' content. Hugue, Sarah, and the rest of our favorite staff regaled us with course after course of decadence on a plate. While we had some input regarding the menu, there was no tasting before the event, and that really speaks to the confidence with which they operate. We opted to not bring our own wedding cake because their in-house desserts are just that good. And if you're looking to keep things really feisty, their alcohol menu will always overdeliver. There's room for a live band and for dancing, and we hired a seven-piece band which really lit up the place (shoutout to Dandy Wellington, who will absolutely make your night). There's a back room of sorts which can either sit more people or accommodate other things, like a play area for kids or a photo booth (which is what we did). The decor is warm, rustic, curiously eclectic, and most importantly very inviting. Best of all, Sarah made the whole process incredibly stress-free and we got to put that much more energy into just having fun. So, if you're looking to have delicious food and feel like you're hosting the best party in town, look no further than M. Wells.
