The Lakes of Taylor is a championship golf course with a 32,000 square-foot clubhouse, pro shop, stylish restaurant and banquet facilities. Book your social function or meeting at the Lakes of Taylor in the beautifully decorated banquet facility. It is the perfect setting for any celebration. Rooms are available to accommodate groups from 35 to 200 persons. The 2009 addition of the Terrace created the perfect setting for intimate gatherings as well as beautiful wedding ceremonies. The Lakes Staff is ready to tend to every detail to make your event a memorable one.

Terrace

This covered, outdoor area is perfect for both formal and casual events. The rustic wood décor mixed with stone and elegant granite perfectly compliment the beautiful water features and golf course surroundings. Retractable screens offer protection from nature, bringing comfort and protection in any weather. The terrace can fit up to 80 guests for a buffet or plated event. For a ceremony, this site fits up to 120 guests comfortably.

The Banquet Room

The Lakes of Taylor boasts one of the most elegant banquet facilities in the downriver area. The upper level facility offers guest a birds eye view of the championship golf course and lake below – a beautiful backdrop all year long that you just won’t find anywhere else. The banquet room at Lakes of Taylor can fit up to 176 guests for a buffet dinner and 184 guests for a plated dinner.

    My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Lakes of Taylor Golf Club on June 24, 2023. We were thrilled with how friendly and accommodating all of the staff was during our wedding day. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how the food was delicious and how they loved talking to our bartenders. The venue also accommodated some of our guest's dietary restrictions and our bar menu. We planned our event with Debbie. She was helpful and organized. She couldn't make it on our special day, so Nancy filled in during our rehearsal and wedding day. Nancy was also very helpful, accommodating, and kind. The ceremony space was beautiful! It included an arch with white flowers and greenery draped over it. Our only complaint was how hot the reception hall was. Some of the guests said they were comfortable with the temperature. It was a very hot and humid day outside. The building is a little bit older so it was difficult to regulate the temperature. Overall, the Lakes of Taylor Golf Club was the perfect venue for our wedding. Our package included two entrees at the buffet, a wedding cake, table linens, and bar. The price was perfect for everything included in our package. The location is close to the airport and great for having a ceremony/reception at the same venue. We couldn't be happier with our choice!
