Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center offers several indoor reception spaces for your wedding cocktail hour and reception. There are three spacious ballrooms and a more intimate private dining room for weddings of all styles. The Renaissance Ballroom is the largest event space, accommodating up to 1,800 guests. The Renaissance along with the other ballrooms feature uplighting, audiovisual equipment, and an open floor plan for arranging your wedding dining space.

With over 100,000 square feet of flexible meeting space and 38 meeting rooms, including our newly renovated 42 Degrees North Room, we can accommodate events of all sizes and styles.

Our riverfront hotel in Detroit, MI, welcomes you with a contemporary design, a newly renovated modern lobby, and a Fuell restaurant. Our polished guestrooms will become your sanctuary while enjoying the fabulous views of the city, floor-to-ceiling windows and comfortable bedding. Our downtown hotel is a premier destination for meetings and social gatherings. We are pleased to offer one of the largest event venues in Michigan, the stunning Renaissance Ballroom, which can seat up to 1,800 banquet guests. Our 42 Degrees North Ballroom, with floor-to-ceiling windows, overlooks the Detroit River and offers an outdoor patio option.

Our peak wedding season is May, June, July, August, September, and October. Saturdays are the most popular day of the weekend.

Our off seasons are January, February, March, April, and December. Friday and Sunday we typically offer lower rentals and food & beverage minimums than Saturdays.
