Greysolon by Black Woods, located along the shore of Lake Superior in Downtown Duluth, provides a variety of spaces for 10-350 guests. The Ballroom features exquisite details, such as hand-painted ceilings and magnificent chandeliers. Wedding parties can enjoy private rooms to comfortably get ready in the natural light of the floor length windows the morning of your wedding. This historic Ballroom has been beautifully restored to create a unique venue for weddings, corporate events, fundraisers and special events in Duluth. The Moorish Room, perfect for weddings of up to 200, also offers a unique ambience within your budget. Start your special day off in luxury with our newly added Moorish Chambers. The majestic Moorish Room will sweep your guests off their feet and back in time. Our onsite catering and white glove service adds to the experience with options for both the elegant eater and the price-conscious plate. It truly is metropolitan sophistication within your budget.

Located in the heart of downtown Duluth and just steps away from Lake Superior. This spacious room is able to accommodate a variety of room arrangements, such as a stage, dance floor, cocktail atmosphere or sit-down dining. Many of our guests hold their wedding ceremony and reception in the Ballroom, as adjacent spaces allow for movement between rooms and a separate bar area for your guests. For weddings, we include the Suite, creating an elegant oasis for the wedding party.

Beautiful
We had our wedding reception at Greysolon Ballroom and were thrilled with their beautiful, open, light-filled venue. The staff were timely, prompt, and kind in all of our communications leading up to the big day, helping with every detail to ensure things went smoothly. On the wedding day itself, they were there whenever we needed anything and the ballroom looked absolutely breathtaking. The large windows let in gorgeous natural light and really showed off the elegant details of the space. Our guests raved about what a perfect setting it was for celebrating our marriage. From start to finish, Greysolon Ballroom helped make our wedding day absolutely perfect with their top-notch customer service and stunning venue. We'd highly recommend them to any couple planning their special day!
