About this venue

The historic Downtown Tacoma post office building was purchased in 2012 with the intention of bringing its 72,000 square feet back to life. Through thoughtful collaboration with local business owners, creatives, entrepreneurs, artists, and artisans, we have strived to create a place that is an authentic destination in Downtown Tacoma for, both, working and the enjoyment of culture. As the building has grown in occupancy, we have seen our vision come to life in the form of thriving tenants, people enjoying open-air cocktails, and wedding processionals. Historic Courtroom

Historically the Federal Magistrates Court, our Historic Courtroom, is Court House Square’s most unique event space.

The room features large windows, beautiful woodwork, and access to our Judges Chambers including a small kitchenette. The room works really well for all types of events, capacity up to 120 guests - Ceremony, Church Service, Life Celebration, Retirement, Birthday, and Graduation Parties, Rehearsal Dinners, Small Receptions, Recitals, Cabarets and More!

The Ballroom at Court House Square, originally a Federal courtroom, was thoughtfully remodeled in 2015 with your event in mind.
