About this venue

We are a new Event Venue located in Alaska, Michigan in Caledonia Township. Our venue received a complete renovation in June 2021. Our venue was originally a church built around 1880. We’ve kept the stained glass windows from the 1900’s and have updated them throughout the venue. We are a historical venue with a modern touch. We think you’ll love it.

Our venue is the perfect place to host your special day.

Our main floor dining room is adorned with stained glass windows & high ceilings with massive beams to create the perfect ambience for your wedding ceremony and reception. We have a large main floor bar for your convenience. Our upper level which we call “The Lounge” is a great space with many areas to socialize & relax. This area also has its own bar for your use.

    Alaska Haus was an excellent choice for our wedding venue. From the beginning, their communication was timely, calm, and kind, which helped ease the stress of wedding planning. The quality of their work and value was also superb - they were affordable, accommodating, and offered plenty of options to customize our day. The ceremony and reception site was set up exactly as planned, and we didn't need any extra assistance from the staff. The venue itself is stunning, and we received so many compliments from our guests. The upstairs area was great for a dessert bar, photos, and extra seating, and the groom and groomsmen were able to use it to get ready before the ceremony. The extra patio space was also perfect for our guests to enjoy. Overall, we couldn't have been happier with our experience at Alaska Haus.
