My event philosophy is centered around the people. Not just the couple, but all the wonderful friends and family who are sharing this day with you. Decorations are an important and lovely part of a wedding, but I try to always remember why we spend all this time and resources on a party - because we want the people we love to celebrate with us. If this sounds like your priority, we will probably be a good fit!
I was a project manager for 10 years before planning my own wedding. I had always thought the skills would translate well to wedding planning, and boy was I right! Over the course of months of research, spreadsheets, and plumbing the depths of my project management skills, I realized people are expected to plan their weddings without the benefit of professional training, and then never use those skills again. Let’s bring your vision to life without all the stress!

My husband and I wholeheartedly recommend Kaila at Rose & Fern Events for your wedding. As the bride (and someone who has anxiety), not only was I able to enjoy the last week or so leading up to the wedding, but I was able to fully enjoy the morning of the wedding (and the actual wedding) because of Kaila. She is friendly, professional, and an excellent communicator. She is so on top of everything, to the point where she knew that we were wanting to do a group shot with our little group of best friends, and she went out of her way to hunt down my husband and our best man to make sure we were all together to get it done. We got married in April of this year and to this day, we STILL have members of our family and our friends talk about how impressed they were with Kaila and her skills. Do yourself a favor and hire her!

Kaila did a phenomenal job with communication throughout the entire planning process! She supported me in the early months with nailing down my day-of timeline. When it came to the month-of and week-of meetings, she had all of the right questions to help us make sure we had everything together and ready for her to take over. She did a beautiful job with decorating and making sure we didn't forget any small details. On the day-of, she kept everything on schedule, and worked out any kinks we had while not letting it impact the flow and experience of the wedding. Kaila did an amazing job of keeping her eye on us during the big day to make sure we had everything we needed. Rose and Fern Events was a vital part of our wedding day and worth every penny in our wedding budget. If we had to plan another event, they would be our first call!
