Hi I'm Andy Anthony! I'm a Portland, Oregon event planner with 16 years of diverse event experience and over 6 years of wedding experience. Double A is my name, Andy Anthony, and it's also the boundless energy I bring to my work. With this philosophy in mind, I founded Double A Weddings & Events, and I’ll work day and night to guarantee that your event will be filled with unforgettable moments. I believe that weddings should be FUN and that you should get to relax and enjoy such a momentous occasion. I love nothing more than making your special day perfect, to take the burden off you so you can just enjoy.

I fully believe that there is no wrong way to do a wedding and your wedding should represent YOU and so I will provide my expertise and guidance while following your lead and respecting your vision. Whether you want to craft the most untraditional nuptials ever or you want to go all tradition all the way, I'll be there to support you and make it happen. I am a vaccinated and LGBTQIA+ wedding vendor.

I take care of almost everything, such as vendor research and communication, gathering quotes, setting up meetings, facilitating contracts, and managing every detail so that you are able to save time and energy and focus on making decisions. I help you manage your budget and consult on budget, but you are responsible for paying the venue and vendors. Includes unlimited meetings to ensure perfect execution.

Think of this package like a wedding planning coach! Designed as a more budget-friendly planning option that guides you through the planning process, keeps you on track, and provides my expertise throughout. Includes unlimited meetings to consult and advise. I provide a budget template and budgetary assistance, but you are responsible for all payments.

You've done almost all the planning yourself but need a professional to execute. You can't do it all yourself, so hire me to make sure it's all perfect! This package offers so much more than a typical day-of coordinator, which entails all-day coordination like setting décor and pushing the timeline along, but also includes work leading up to your wedding like timeline creation, a site plan, vendor communication, the wedding rehearsal, and more.

    On your big day, choose Andy! We cannot tell you enough how organized, dependable and reassuring she was during our wedding planning process. She answered all our questions promptly, and kept everything on track so we could enjoy our wedding!     I'm so glad we hired Andy. I had no idea how stressful and time consuming planning a wedding would be. I understand some people love it, but it's okay if you don't. Andy is so understanding and helpful, and empowered us to feel okay and not guilty about our decisions. All of her vendor recommendations were awesome. It really seems to make a difference when your wedding is run by really nice people who love weddings. Everyone really helped to make our wedding a dream come true, and I couldn't thank her enough for making that happen. My only regret is that I didn't hire Andy earlier. Highly recommend!

    We hired Andy (Double A Wedding & Events) to be our day-of coordinator. I also hired her to help with a little bit of the planning and vendor correspondence as well. I cannot recommend Andy enough. She made our wedding day easy and seamless. The only thing we had to worry about on our wedding day was having fun and getting married. Andy handled everything else. I 100% recommend hiring her for your wedding day. You will be glad you have her on your side!

    We had an unconventional schedule for our wedding - married in February in intimate ceremony and then reception in August with larger group of friends and family. Andy was our reception coordinator, and was great to work with. She listened to our various ideas, helped us get them into a timeline, then followed up on various details as the day approached. She’s energetic but easy going, and helped keep my anxiety in check as the party day got closer. I would highly recommend her!
