Hello Darling! I’m Katie, the owner of One Fat Dove. I live in the Lone Star State outside of the Dallas city limits. One Fat Dove is a wedding and events company to reflect my upbeat personality. I firmly believe my style embodies from the women in my family: with a pinch of classy, a dollop of hip and a whole lot of sass! Being the owner and wedding planner of OFD has been the most rewarding career path. It is an honor to be with different types of couples to tell their story and become unified as one. I don't set time restrictions on my planning packages. I am happy to get started as soon as I have a signed contract and a deposit sent. The more I know about you the more I can help with bringing your personality to your wedding.

Description

Let OFD take lead in making your vision come to life. The collection includes the coordination of event design and aesthetic. Will help with the execution of invitations such as ordering and sending. Help with RSVP management of all guests. Review and finalize seating chart. Will work closely with the budget as to prioritize and revise as needed. Assist with the scheduled payments of remaining contract balances with gratuities if needed.

For the client needing help with managing and coordinating. This collection includes help with room layouts and flow of guests around the venue. Vendor referrals if needed. Managing payment reminder for all vendor contracted balances; this will also be for gratuities as needed. All clients will receive OFD working agenda and one hour rehearsal. Coordinator will supervise the production of event with breakdown.

To have no stress during your event. Collection covers for communication with all vendors. Clients will receive One Fat Dove working agenda supervising all production with breakdown, flow of the event, guiding guests to designated areas, bridal party walk-through, cutting cake, collecting gifts, etc.

    Katie has great vision, attention to detail, and an eye for design. Having a professional and advocate at vendor meetings is something I would truly recommend. When it comes to nitty gritty details, you can trust Katie to handle them. We worked with various vendors to plan the wedding day, and Katie helped organize each meeting/booking with her relationships across DFW. Her genuine charm and good nature made each vendor meeting feel more personable. It's apparent that each wedding Katie works on becomes personal to her. She cares, she remains intentional, she gets excited! Her ability to understand our vision (while staying within budget) kept things moving along in a cohesive manner. Katie is crafty, if she can bring your vision to life.. she will find a way! For example, I cannot tell you how many different plates and charger combinations Katie did with me until "we got it right" one morning. When it comes to the actual wedding day, Katie has you taken care of. We simply were able to enjoy the day. We appreciate the advocacy, transparency, dedication, and help to pull off our dream wedding.
