Blue Poppy Events was born out of a passion for helping our clients mold their dreams into reality. Since our inception, we’ve committed ourselves to creating impactful and creative experiences for our clients and their guests, no matter the size of the event. In serving as wedding planners and coordinators for events around the world, our team strives to meet and exceed the needs of everyone involved. This is because we understand the importance of working with (not just for) our clients in order to make their events unforgettable, forging memories that last long after the final guest leaves.

Blue Poppy Events was created by a sister duo. Carrie and Rebekah set out to develop a planning company that was focused on putting clients’ wishes at the forefront, customizing unique events that are perfectly suited to their needs, all while treating them like members of their family. Carrie and Rebekah's passion for celebrating the greatest moments in life is at the heart of all they do. The sisters work on all of Blue Poppy Events' weddings as a pair, because they created this company in order to work together and believe their combined skills and talents offer clients a planning experience that is hard to find elsewhere.

    Working with Blue Poppy Events was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Their communication was clear, timely, and highly informative throughout the entire planning process. They listened to our ideas and provided valuable input that helped make our vision a reality. Throughout the whole process up to and including the day of the wedding, their team made us feel extremely relaxed and taken care of. Blue Poppy truly went above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect in every way. I cannot recommend them highly enough!!

    As wedding photographers and wedding filmmakers, we’ve had the privilege of capturing a several weddings that were planned and coordinated by Blue Poppy Events. We have worked with MANY planners, but if we were planning our own wedding again, we can’t think of anyone we’d rather ask to walk with us through the process of planning and coordinating our wedding day than Blue Poppy Events! The Blue Poppy team is led by the dynamic sister duo of Carrie & Rebekah -- who radiate kindness and confidence and just plain good vibes. We’ve also worked with Anne who is an incredibly talented planner that knows how to manage the logistics while also being incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. What sets Blue Poppy apart is their dedication - they genuinely care about their clients and go the extra mile to make sure everything is running smoothly. They also excel at creating a cohesive vendor team—they ensure that all vendors are supported, well-coordinated, and working together seamlessly.     I made the decision to find a wedding planner when i was struggling to make decisions on the most simple items, i'm extremely indecisive! The ladies at Blue Poppy were the cure to my problems. They helped me from start to finish and are experts at what they do! They helped me find all the perfect vendors to make my vision come through and were extremely patient along the whole way. They were impromptu mediators when my mother and i had difference of opinions and they helped SAVE my wedding dress when i had a disaster at my first alteration. These ladies are well connected and either know someone OR will find someone to solve your problem! ALL of my wedding guests were super impressed by how seamless the wedding day went and you can tell the ladies behind Blue Poppy were the conductors, orchestrating a perfect show. I would recommend these ladies to anyone and everyone. My wedding day would not have been as great as it was without Carrie, Rebekah, and Anne :)

    I've had the joy of working with Carrie and Rebekah at Blue Poppy Events multiple times as a videographer, and every experience has been an absolute delight. From the moment you step onto a project with them, you're greeted with warm smiles and an infectious energy that makes every event special. What truly sets them apart is their ability to create a fun and dynamic atmosphere for everyone, They make everyone's job so easy, and you can't help but feel like part of a big, happy family when working with them. Their positivity is contagious, and it's clear they love what they do. Not only are they incredibly professional and responsible, but they also build genuine friendships with their vendors, myself included.
