Ashley (she/they), owner of Wide Eyed Studios, is a Philadelphia-based luxury wedding photographer. She specializes in engagement shoots, boudoir, rehearsal dinner coverage, elopement, local and travel weddings, as well as day after portrait sessions.   • An inspired photographer, delays delivering photos

    Ashley drove all the way up from Philadelphia to photograph our wedding in the Boston area. Her prices were quite reasonable, including the travel costs. She was a very pleasant and relaxed photographer, flexible in the face of uncertainty and complexity, and able to marshall children and adults effectively. Her street photography background lended itself perfectly for candid, intimate, dynamic images, which we were hoping to capture for our guests. Our wedding was on November 3rd, 2024. We received 1100 online photographs on March 29th, 2025, and a USB of all photographs around April 15th, 2025. So it took 20 weeks, 6 days for the full set of photographs. Ashley was able to get us several photographs on November 9th, 2024, which was a pleasant experience after the wedding. My wife was concerned that we might not get the photos from Ashley, as time went by and we could not contact her. During the winter my wife was contacted by another recent customer of Ashley's to ask if we had gotten hold of her and received photos, as the other customer had not yet and had been unable to contact her. The effort of calling, texting, or emailing her every few weeks with no or infrequent responses did become a bit of a chore for us. We're giving Ashley 4 out of 5 stars because the quality of her photos and her quality as a member of the wedding day does not deserve a lower rating. We just wanted you to know of the delay and lack of contact we experienced after the event. It might have been a temporary setback for Ashley, we can't tell from her communication with us.     Ashley has photographed something like three or four events for me, including a wedding and some family portraits for my extended family. It's a testament to her talents that shortly after the family shoot, many prints of her photos appeared on their walls, became their profile pictures, were sent as gifts and postcards to other members of my family, and generally became the way they saw themselves. All my favorite photos of me and my family are ones she's taken. And that's really the magic. Ashley and Wide Eyed Studios will show you how you really are, in all your beauty, even if you don't *feel* beautiful, or noteworthy, because in her eyes, everyone is beautiful, once they've found their light.

    Ashley and Wide Eyed Studios gave us something we couldn't find anywhere else. They were able to capture the totality of our destination wedding experience. On top of that Ashley and Rebecca were able to take the pressure off of couples portraits before the wedding by creating a unique, intimate, striking, outdoor day-after location shoot. This allowed us to enjoy the run up to our wedding with minimal disruptions and gave us a portrait shoot that exceeded our expectations. Having Wide Eyed Studios with us during our entire destination event helped us authentically capture all of the fun moments we had with our friends and family leading up to the wedding. They were able to capture so much more than I had expected, and we now have so much more to look back on with incredible photos. With all of the amazing imagery that was captured, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception got even more love. The comfort level that was already gained with Ashley having been integrated with the group upleveled all of the content that was captured on wedding day. We are so thankful for all of the moments that were captured. Overall, the entire experience with Ashely and Wide Eyed Studios was so meaningful to us. They felt more a part of our celebration than a vendor we hired to support it. We couldn't have asked for anything more and the pictures we received still make us shake our heads with disbelief. Thank you, Ashley and Wide Eyed Studios for making our destination wedding the best it could possibly be.
