I’m Shelley, a woman who has been fundamentally changed by love, and I suspect that you’re here because love has changed you too. It’s nice to meet you, fellow human full of brilliance and eccentricities. I’m a native Austinite, an extrovert who revels in meeting new people (but also appreciates alone time now that I have children), and an earnest optimist who thrives on seeing the gold in others.

I will document your wedding with the honesty and warmth with which I approach life, not ignoring the bitter, but treasuring the sweetness that balances it out. My goal is for you to have the best wedding day experience possible, which means preparing ahead of time, directing when I need to, but mostly just letting y'all enjoy the moments you have with the ones you love. More than 10 years of experience shooting weddings doesn't hurt either!

    Such a wonderful experience! Cannot praise Shelley enough. After seeing her gallery with a mix of lovely portraits and candid photos I knew this is the kind of photographer I wanted at my event. Communication was super easy and smooth. Shelley was complete professional and a joy to work with. She was efficient and accommodating working with a multilingual crowd. She took great actions shots and has a great eye for the cannot miss moments. She has a great sense of light and location choosing different places to take couple portraits. I was very happy with the photos 3 33 I'm so happy to have these pictures to look back at our special day. Look no further!

    Shelley did a wonderful job capturing our wedding day! We have only received our sneak peek and slideshow so far, but we are already in love with how all the photos have turned out! She is easy to work with and takes beautiful pictures. Somehow, she even manages to make the candid photos look great! We are so glad we chose her to preserve the memories of our wedding! She also took our engagement photos which turned out great!

    I cannot say enough great things about Shelley! First off, she is so personable and kind. Second, her pictures speak for themselves. We met her at an open house and when I took a look at her look book I loved the candid shots, they were so natural and happy. Fast forward to a month before wedding day, we met up, had coffee and great conversation. I just knew we made the right decision. Come wedding day, SHE WAS AMAZING. It was a running joke between my husband and I that she was everywhere, but I didn’t even notice her, where he knew where she was at all times. I haven’t gotten back my photos yet since we just got married but I have no doubt they will be amazing. She sent us 2 preview photos 2 hours after our wedding ended and holy moly they were amazing. I got so many compliments from guests about how awesome Shelley was. At one point when it was time to go get announced and start the reception I looked at her and said “I feel so socially drained so I am going to take a minute before we go in” without a beat she said “if you need to step away give me a sign and I will pull you away”. She was more than a photographer to us on our day, she was our friend and the comfort we needed.

    Shelley is absolutely amazing!! We used her for both our engagement shoot and for our wedding. Her photos are beautiful and joyful, and she gets the best shots of everyone - even our anxious dog! Shelley's kind, calm, fun energy is exactly what a stressed-out bride needs on her wedding day. She clearly loves what she does, and it shows through her photos. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our wedding day, and we cannot recommend Shelley highly enough!
