My name is Sheldon, owner and lead photographer os Sheldon Nicole Photography. I began photography in 8th grade and am so grateful for how the Lord has grown my hobby into a business that allows me to serve couples on the best day of their life. I am married, have a lab/husky mix puppy named Louie, and love to stroll through Grand Rapids with my husband and dog.

I love to capture authentic moments between you and your wedding guests. When posing, I aim to give prompts that encourage genuine interaction to capture candid-style photos all day. I observe all day for moments that are meaningful, emotional, and tell the story of your wedding day. I aim to capture the day as it is happening naturally rather than manipulate it to be "picture perfect".

    Sheldon was amazing from the first time we met her. She did our engagement photos and I knew right then that we wanted her for the wedding. Unfortunately, she was already booked for our day but she went through the trouble of finding someone to shoot for her while she prepped all the details and edits all the photos. She even visited us after her first wedding to say hello and take some extras! She is amazing and got us our preview literally the next day and we are so in love with them. We can't wait to see the rest!

    Sheldon is such a talented photographer!!! She has worked for me multiple times now as my second photographer for weddings. She has such a creative eye for photography and comes up with great ideas! She has a great perspective and helps captures all the raw, candid moments throughout the day. She is great at posing and capturing unique angles. As the main photographer, I love to have her alongside of me on wedding days! She is so helpful and ready to take control at any moment.
