The face behind Padre Ryan is me, Laura Schimmel, a Corpus Christi transplant from New England. I worked at Padre Ryan for 2 years as Director of Photography before taking on the ownership role in January of 2017. I love every moment of being a photographer, videographer and business owner. I love being out on the beach when I can, whether it's taking photos or just relaxing. I also just welcomed a baby girl into my life this past November! We couldn't be prouder and happier parents.

Padre Ryan specializes in capturing amazing wedding photography and videography for our clients but we also work with local magazines to create advertising content and beautiful imagery. We have created unique collections of art for corporate clients to make their offices shine with locally themed photography and we have created PSA announcements in conjunction with Corpus Christi hospitals. Our biggest photo to date graces a 103.33ft wall at the Corpus Christi International Airport! We currently also offer on location and studio sessions.

Our Deluxe Package is an awesome package for the wedding couple who wants to keep it simple and sweet. This package comes with 6 hours of Photo coverage and can be the perfect fit for weddings that are intimate and in one location. It also features a portrait session before the wedding and a keepsake album for the couple.

It comes with a pre wedding day portrait session, a keepsake album for the couple and a choice of two parent albums or two 16x20 canvases.

    I have been using Padre Ryan Photography ever since my husband found them at a wedding fair years ago! From our engagement photos to my bridal photos and our wedding photos/video and now with our daughter, we use them for her birthday photos. They are very friendly and helpful in making all my ideas come to life and way better than what i imagined. Would definitely recommend them to anyone for any type of photos/videography.
