Michelle Chan Photography

My name is Michelle Chan and I would LOVE to chat with you about your wedding, portrait, event, and lifestyle photography needs! I am based in O’ahu, Hawai’i in a quaint beachside town called Ka’a’awa. I shoot intimate weddings & elopements all over O’ahu and would be thrilled to guide you in your adventurous exploration of my beautiful home island! As a deeply avid traveler, I waive travel fees to other Hawaiian islands, as well as for international destination weddings.

How do I approach photography? For context, I graduated from Pomona College, a small liberal arts college outside Los Angeles. While I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology, I supplemented my studies of the human mind with courses exploring media, film, digital art, sociology, representation, ethnic studies, and the roles each play in contemporary society. I thus approach my work as a photographer holistically, capturing and sharing visual narratives that employ my multifaceted understanding of people.
