Hi! I’m Julia, a Cincinnati-based photographer and videographer passionate about capturing timeless love stories. I blend artful storytelling with genuine connection, using digital and film photography, plus nostalgic Super 8 films, to create keepsakes you’ll treasure forever. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m at home with my husband, our sweet animals, and a coffee in hand, celebrating life’s little joys with creativity and kindness. Best Photographer Ever!
We met with Julia for the first time at a wedding show hosted by Rhinegeist Brewery. By the next morning she had already reached out to us and we started planning a date to meet to discuss wedding photography! She is absolutely fantastic and really made me feel comfortable with her during our initial meeting by taking time to answer any question I had, and helping explain her process to me. The first time I got to witness her in action was during my proposal. My fiancé reached out to her and she helped him plan a lot of it, which I was so grateful for! She has such a unique and mesmerizing artistic vision which I absolutely loved in my proposal. The pictures turned out even better than I could’ve imagined!! I’m awkward in front of a camera but I felt like I was able to be myself while she was there. Our Super 8 video made me cry when I saw it for the first time, it was everything I could’ve wanted and more! You can tell she really takes pride in what she does, and she’s the best at it!! I can’t wait for our engagement session and wedding. I know she’s going to do an absolutely incredible job! If you wanted a photographer who will really listen to, help, and make you feel comfortable in front of a camera, I definitely recommend Julia! She really is the best.
A Photographer Who Cares!
My wife and I hired Julia for our wedding in 2022, and we couldn't recommend her enough! She was communicative throughout the entire planning process and was exactly where she needed to be on the day without taking away unnecessary time and attention, letting us experience our special day to the fullest. Her experience shows in both the quality of her work and the support she provides on the day. She checked in with us and showed us photos after scheduled shoots, and even guided us to an isolated spot for an intimate moment together after she noticed we could use a breather before getting back to the festivities. Our photos arrived promptly and perfectly encapsulated our day. Every photo was stunning and not a single moment was missed. Julia was, without a doubt, the best hiring decision we made for our wedding - we couldn't recommend her enough!

As soon as I came across Julia’a insta page I was locked in. Immediately I fell in love with her style, so simplistic yet moody and raw. She truly has a gift and she checked all our boxes when my husband and I met her for the first time at the cutest coffee shop in Cincy. Julia brought our photos to life and new exactly what to do and how to pose us. She made us laugh and we felt extremely comfortable with her. You will never forget her awesome style in photography and clothing!! But most importantly how humble and sweet she is. Thank you Julia for capturing not only Isaac and I but all that the Swing House offered. It was truly a one of a kind experience and we couldn’t have done it without you. Julia is the best photographer I have ever worked with. She took my fiancé and I’s photos once before and we immediately knew we wanted to use her for our elopement. She went to NYC with us and was super helpful with everything! She made sure to ask for my opinion on things or if I had any ideas and she took them and ran with them. We are so thrilled with how our photos turned out and we LOVED having her as a part of our special day! We recommend her constantly!
